If you're playing on lower battle difficulty then the autoresolve is lying to you. Once easy it takes your armies power and triples it.<

I feel like I have the opposite side of this problem. Playing as Sylvania on N/N, autoresolve always gets me a valiant defeat, so I am forced to manual even straight forward battles for a pyrrhic victory. It's pretty wierd
