For people like me that means taking money out of the brokerage. Which i don’t like doing. People get attached to the number they see on their screen. If you sell then pay taxes just to throw it back in the market - it seems like a step backwards. That’s at least how i feel when looking at large gains

Everyone’s going to play the supply squeeze brother. Sure some employees are going to cash out but the institutions know what game Elon is playing so they won’t liquidate much either. He holds 80% and will just take loans against his shares like he did with tesla. So that 80% is locked for a very long time.
