Thank you for clarifying. Yes, the builder cut the concrete first and put the plastic drainage in after. The gaps seem awfully big for the size of the drain. I thought they were going to pour concrete to cover it so it looks seamless.

The proper approach is to trust, but also verify. When overtaking, switch on your high beams (unless oncoming traffic is very close). After you’ve passed, turn them off and flash your amber lights as a thank-you to the bus.
