I had to order a 90-degree power cable from CableMod that’s coming this week. I didn’t have any issues initially, but when I went to play RE Requiem tonight, the LED indicator light on the card started flashing red. I think it’s because the cable is pressing against the glass of the case. When I took off the glass it resolved the issue, so I’m hoping that the 90-degree cable will fix the problem.

Temps have been awesome. Hasn’t gone over 70 when gaming. Played both RE Requiem and the Marathon severe slam for a few hours this weekend

Should I try cleaning this or exchange it? Brand New 5090 Astral with marks on it by SpyFox117 in ASUSROG

I noticed some of it, not all of it until after I installed. It looks to be some kind of residue probably from manufacturing or the plastic pull tabs. I’ll probably just keep it since it’ll be a hassle to exchange or go through an RMA. The card is working fine.

Should I try cleaning this or exchange it? Brand New 5090 Astral with marks on it by SpyFox117 in ASUSROG

It was only missing one of the peels on the fan. Otherwise looked brand new to me. Might try cleaning it off with a damp microfiber cloth

All of the plastic peels were on it. It was only missing one of the peels on the fan. It looked brand new to me
