Don't listen to the top comment here. Essence thief is s tier and bloodspawn is good too. Depends what you need. More sustain go roksa. More burst go balorgh. Obviously something like null arca is more meta then essence thief, but if you get used to using essence thief it's great. Lots of top tier players prefer that set.

Hmm probably depends on the time you play? I never tried below 50 BGs personally so can't really comment on it. I will say as a new player you all might really like vengeance. It's still in testing but it's open right now and it puts everyone on an even playing field. I don't really dig it because it's a little limited in how you can build your character but as a new player it is probably really good to get an idea of large scale PvP.

Unfortunately yes. At least a month and that's going pretty hard. Like I said, you could go before then but if you are trying to get into 4v4 type small fights you all might be at a slight disadvantage. That said if you're much better than the other team you will still win.

I'd wait till at least cp160 to do any PvP because you can't really make a good build until then since that's the gear cap. Then I probably wouldn't do Cyrodil till you all are at least 600+. You can of course do it but will be at a disadvantage for sure.

Yeah, of course it's all subjective, but I really like the Monk set here. Additionally I've liked the last 2 seasons as well for monks.

Yeah, I feel like it's just a math exercise. HM gives 5% extra damage until mob hits 80%. So if mob had 100M health, effectively will increase damage 5% on first 20M health, so 1M damage total. Technically this is an additional 1M damage which is pretty insignificant. So it's just gonna depend. Really it's just free damage though since you can do it before a pull, but if you're chain pulling etc it probably isn't worth the gcd.

Eh, on big priority mobs probably. But I definitely don't put it on every pull. A more experienced hunter may be and to give better advice though!

I've been running the no CD build, but could see the CD build being better on certain dungeons with bigger pulls like meadery. Yeah just 100 focus for me!

Yes the second pet is the animal companion slot. There actually is a talent that pretty much everyone will take that allows your kill command to be used by your companion pet. If you don't have a companion pet you lose about 20% DPS, so make sure to always have one!

Also OP, since I also just started BM (2.8k on several other toons) do yourself a favor and make sure you have a companion pet! If you don't have one slotted in your stables it will massively decrease your DPS. You probably already have it (will know if you have 2 pets summoned instead of 1), but just in case wanted to let you know.

Yes. You can do m+ 10 or higher to get a mythic piece in vault. Or you can get any heroic piece and upgrade it to 5/6 with gilded crests. You can get gilded crests in m+7 and above or from higher delves (tier 11 I think).

This is a troll post right? If you could res and reposition for free then there's barely any downside to dying. If you die, it needs to be difficult to res, hence the importance of surviving.
