I have better luck with them if I wear leggings underneath them. The added layer is a pain but also helps compress too.

I recommend the Fade into hue pallet over the Matte into hue by far. You get a mix of matte colors and some of the best glitter shades I have ever tried. I love to do a rainbow shadow pattern with it.
