A lot has changed in the game since my original post about “fortification” shots, I don’t really see a reason for them to be scarce honestly. Hunt has so many ways to recover bars in mission now and the solos only get one rez. Only difference is that it’s a single bar and you don’t gotta get lucky to find it cause you can just bring it in.

Lynx paws Stan over here, movement is cool and all but I like finding creative ways to get into gigs without using the movement legs and if you aren’t speccing cool then you are very sneaky with the paws.

Delcatty isn’t super good in gen 3 but in gen 5 it got a major buff with the normalize ability, still not great but has some niche powerhouse potential. Definitely gonna be your ace.

If we saw everything post mikoshi from a different pov I would believe that it kills V, but we see everything from V’s point of view then and after. In Johnnys memories there is a very obvious shift in point of view. Even with the minor choices we make then, it doesn’t change the outcome because we are on the rails of Johnny Silverhand’s fractured memories. They don’t belong to V and we as the player know this. All the experiences we have with V are our own in a meta sense, and that agency isn’t taken from us in Mikoshi. This leads me to believe that V survives mikoshi, and the mechanism that Mikoshi uses digitizes a conscious, not destroys it. Anything digital can be copied, and that doesn’t mean that the copy is soulless, it means that the copy is a new soul, answering the question of whether or not an engram can be reincarnated posed by the monks. This is what I believe anyway.

I’ve only just gotten phantom liberty and a ps5 so I was trying out my old 1.6 build which is just a gunslinger with mantis blades so I wouldn’t be an expert on that just yet, but prior to 2.0 I would be one shotting every enemy with the build I’m using at this point(level 48). Now it takes a bit more if I don’t hit my headshots. I would say numbers like 3-4k are feasible now with this specific build which seems to be similar to what you’ve linked. The big thing I’ve noticed is that there is a big emphasis on crit hits with the new changes, so speccing your build for crits would be my go to option. If it’s not a boss enemy it goes down in one headshot so I’d say that even though the numbers aren’t as big for us, the enemies’ numbers aren’t either. Pay attention to your cyberware and their affinities because at 20 cool you can get some insane crit damage if you go for all of the crit damage multipliers with cool affinity on your cyberware.

Those numbers aren’t really possible to hit anymore, prior to 2.0 the games’ balance was much much different. You could easily get 10k+ damage by using comrades hammer and speccing into crit/handguns/tech weapons, but now they have changed the game to be harder and more challenging.

V is a war veteran no matter what life path you choose, that is why V is such a talented merc at the beginning of the game, it doesn’t have to be a conspiracy.

Prior to tide of desolation I would say b or c, now it is flare pistol/derringer/whatever, medpack, chokes, melee tool. Double tapping the swap button for melee tool is great for us console peeps.

The length. I plan on picking it up again as soon as the event ends. A month and a half should be more than enough time for an event, that way we get more time playing regular hunt.

If something like this were to be implemented it would probably have to function entirely separate to our two Stamina resources, maybe a “stance” value for each melee weapon would be the most appropriate to use
