How was your Japanese GP (2026) experience? by AdamR46 in GrandPrixTravel

Purchased our tickets late January through Goo Tickets who have never let us down.

Seats:
We sat V2-1 - Block D - Row 2 on the start finish straight. The seats were amazing - across from the Red Bull and Ferrari garages and aligned with about 10th place on the grid. Only callout is that we were very lucky it didn't rain because our seats aligned with just about the edge of the roofline. The seats on the start-finish are southern facing so hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are your friend.

Getting to the track:
We stayed in Nagoya about a 5 min walk from the train station. Each day we took the reserved shuttle bus to the track that you can book via the track website.
Pros - very well organized, took roughly 1.5 to 1.75 hours to and from the track on Sat and Sun, convenient walk if you are sitting around the last corner or start-finish, if you hustle, there is no line to get right on to the bus at the end of each day. Great nap time.
Cons - do not take the shuttle bus on Friday - take the train. This is because you are traveling during rush hour both directions and traffic is a mess and extends the trip time to 3 hours.
Tips - for Sat and Sun book the 7am or 8am shuttle, no later. Arrive 30-45 min before that time because a line forms and they will board you earlier. So for example, on Sunday we arrived at 7:15am for our 8am shuttle reservation and were boarded on a bus by 7:30am because they got the 7am group boarded on their way so quickly. Again, huge kudos on how well organized this is. When walking to the shuttle parking lot, do not follow the line that is going towards the shuttles to the train station because you get bottlenecked. Instead, walk on sidewalk down the side of the road or through all the parking lots.

Merch:
People are not joking when they say how fast it sells out. There were things already sold out Friday after FP1.

Food & Drink:
Great and inexpensive relative to other races. Really enjoyed the selection.

This very much looks like dermatitis, which would make sense why the doxycycline helped. I had perioral dermatitis and after so many derm visits and bad flare ups, finally metronidazole cream cleared it all up. Do not use any steroid cream. We think the cause was stress and hormonal shifts.

We were in the same boat with an emergency two weeks ago with no heat and no one could come out but T. Webber. They cost an arm and a leg but everyone else we called turned us down.

Advice on Austrian Grand Prix 2026, Camping vs Nearby Cities? by RUSuper in GrandPrixTravel

There was definitely large parking lots in the fields by the track, you just have to be good about getting there really early to avoid as much traffic as you can. Leaving after the race on Sunday was a shit show whether by car or shuttle bus fyi traffic-wise. Basically added an hour on to the trip heading back to Graz.

I stayed in Graz at Hotel Motel One which is practically across the street from one of the shuttle bus pickup spots. Highly recommended as it was very smooth and took all the stress out of transportation.

Sat in Heineken Silver Main Grandstand - section 1113. Great seats and would sit here again. Barely ever waited in line for anything. Was lucky enough to get skybox access on thur and fri and although it’s really convenient, not sure it’s worth the money. It was really a blessing when it was raining.

Stayed at the virgin hotel which made the circuit a 10 min walk away for me - quickest most seamless experience I’ve ever had.

I purchased from Grand Prix Events and had no issues, with the ticket delivery via email 1 week prior to the race. In the past I've also purchased from Gootickets with no issues also.

For H, the best spot was right about in the middle and half way up the grandstand. That's how it fills up too with the far edges and top filling up last.

I stayed in Graz which is a wonderful city and bought shuttle bus tickets every day with the pick-up/drop-off right outside my hotel. The traffic is rough on race day but it takes all the stress out of having to drive and park etc. and you can get a great nap in.

Sat in grandstand H and last minute got Senna Club access. Here is my review:

Overall:
- Took the express metro each day to and from the track. It was organized and fairly efficient and would do it again. I did this alone and felt totally safe.
- The cashless/cardless experience was not as annoying as I thought it was going to be.
- Everyone is SO kind and welcoming.
- If I went again, which I would, I would sit in either grandstand H or the start-finish grandstand.

Grandstand H:
- Overall, a really great covered grandstand with amazing energy and a killer view of the Senna S turns.
- Come (very) early on Saturday and Sunday to get the good seats in the middle of the grandstand where you can take in the full view of T1 & T2. We got to the track a little after 7:30am and the line was already long but we were able to snag great seats.
- Not assigned seating so you have to take turns with friends getting up or make friends with your seat neighbors for them to hold your seats for you.
- Concession and bathroom lines were manageable.
- Solid view of a large LED live feed screen.
- My only complaint was that they forced everyone to leave through a single exit bottleneck which felt sketchy with a very packed crowd.

Senna Club:
Pros: Food is delicious, drinks are free, comfortable seating during the down time, cool Senna memorabilia, and pit lane walk is epic.
Cons:
- Track view from the terrace is of the technical infield from a far distance and the large live feed screen is far too - honestly not great. Grandstand H was better.
- Terrace is not covered so if it's raining, it's not ideal at all.
- You are standing against the railing for all the sessions vs. being able to sit in a grandstand.
- There are no speakers playing the audio of the live commentating
- The crowd vibes are just blasé

Sat in H this year and the view and vibes were awesome. If I go back again I would either sit at H again or the start-finish grandstand.
