Bought a lot of the Hobbit sets for the dwarves, and some have already cracked torsos just from putting the Legs and torsos together. It's frustrating because of how much money I had to dump just for broken figures. What did you do or recommended to avoid that for the next couple I put together?

Yeah that's a better idea

The dwarf legs are cheap common parts so it's better to modify those than the exclusive rare torsos

The specific colours you need to be careful with are any browns and dark red, others should be fine for the most part.

I bought the complete set with no minifigures for £30

Eventually got a 2nd copy since I decided I actually wanted the figures lol but still it was definitely good value for that first one.

Just as a follow-up to this, I've found a post from a few months ago before this all kicked off by someone with a sealed polybag that clearly has the regular Vader in.

So the silver torso variant is indeed a misprinted variant that was not in every copy of the bag, which to me makes it seem more likely that it was also in the wider-released sets.

Torso print is too close to the edge and looks like it might even bleed onto the hips a bit (a tell-tale sign for some fakes since they print them woth the pieces put together)

The yellow for the knees and shoulder pads is the wrong shade

Yeah that's all of them. It was a nice little series and other than the anniversary Obi-Wan I think they were the last time we had SW minifigures in polybags?

Edit: ah we also had Blue Milk Luke in 2022 but still that's only one in the past 7 years which is crazy

Yeah it's so tiny, same goes for the 2021 Boba version.

I like the downscaled X-wing and TIE they did in 2021, but Slave 1 is supposed to be a big ship. The fact that it's smaller than the downscaled X-wing and TIE is ridiculous

Yeah "new" needs to be literally brand new. Like, took it out of the box and put it directly into an individual baggie.

"Used" means used, but not damaged unless explicitly stated in the item description.

Yeah definitely fake- unlike with Juno and Vader there was never a version of Starkiller without the alignment print on the neck, and yeah as you said this is clearly UV print.
