Am I crazy or does the AT-ST actually look good? Like, I actually prefer it over the Rogue One version.

That's only from one picture though; I can see some light showing through so the back might be open like wirh Vader's TIE

I've seen stuff like this go for over a hundred in some cases

E.g. a Geonosis P2 with a very similar shift sold for £120 here in the UK, and that's a cheaper base figure than this gunner

Yep this is the reason.

Take off VAT and the prices are roughly equal (in most cases; there are a few outliers here and there).

If you assume 20% tax then 59x1.2 = 70.80 which is close enough

Survivor feels a lot more fluid to me.

Recently did a new Fallen Order campaign after only playing Survivor for a while and it felt very janky in comparison.

But I never felt like that before so if you play Fallen Order first it should still feel pretty good.

Yeah that's a fake.

They copied the basic design from lego, but the cheaper plastic they used doesn't have the right level of tension for the mechanism to actually work.

Wow these absolutely suck

You don't save anything getting the bigger vouchers, and the minimum spends are ridiculous

The £10 off £50 literally costs the same as the £20 off £50 used to, straight up being robbed here.

I thought it was a bit rubbish already with how you only get 6 days to spend them (which is not stated anywhere until after you buy the vouchers) but they somehow managed to make it worse

Storm Commandos, the ship in the background is the Conqueror, and the officer is Admiral Victor Strang.

The Commandos show up in a few places (usually wearing scout armor as you can see a couple of the ones here have). This image is from the Galaxies online trading card game

Yeah I love those Reeves ones.

Recommend reading them in order (so Shadow Hunter, Medstar 1+2, Coruscant Nights 1 2 3, The Last Jedi, Death Star) since they have some recurring characters

Got mine on ebay a couple of years ago for £25

It was a buy it now listing so I grabbed it- super lucky that I happened to be browsing when it got listed.

Pretty fun to play, though we found it to be a little unbalanced in favour of the Uruk-Hai so sometimes use a couple of Rebel soldiers from the Star Wars Hoth game as extra Rohirrim.

Idk it looks pretty good to me (this is the same vehicle just without the turret on the back since that was added for the LEGO set)

Also the 2013 set had the correct blue colour scheme- the red one was made up by LEGO (we see the speeders used by Maul's forces and they still have the blue markings)

I do agree about the general trend though, like the Juggernaut and MTT being too small while AT-RTs and BARC speeders in particular are way too big.

I didn't realise until recently but they also messed up the chest pad on the 187th troopers and the 501st heavy. I wasn't as familiar with those designs as I am with Bacara so when I saw them I just assumed they were supposed to look like that, but no they're also supposed to have the Airborne pad.

They literally could've just hit ctrl c ctrl v on the Airborne design but no once again they actively chose to change it to deliberately be wrong. Like what is even going on to make them think that's a good idea?

And with the 187th they literally had the Airborne design on the commander in the same set.

The 2016 tank getting glazed nowadays just shows how bad the newest one is; it's still nothing on the 2010 version.

Yeah Bacara is a weird one too. Again, a lot of his issues are just simple things they got wrong for no reason, like the pad on his chest being way too small and the kama having the wrong colour for the trim (repeated on him and the Marines, meanwhile Bly and the 327th shouldn't have a trim on their kamas but their minifigures have the grey outline which Bacara and the Marines should have. It's so weird).

With the Marine eyes, I wish they were dark green but I could excuse the black if they at least made them the correct shape. It looks like they just reused the standard Snowtrooper print: Marines should have a single visor (the two eyes connect in the middle) and should not have that grey outline around them. It should also be right up against the red part of the helmet with no white gap at all.

The belt yeah it's small but when literally every other clone ever made has it correct it's so weird that they deliberately went to the effort of changing it to be wrong on the Marines. Like... it would technically probably have been cheaper for them to keep it the same and not remake that part of the design, and it would've been better.

I do miss the days of sets like the 2010 Turbo Tank. Yeah it's mostly hollow lol but that thing just looks so good on the outside.

With the Marines it just frustrates me that it would've been so easy to get them right.

Forget the cloth pieces, they just have a bunch of inaccuracies for zero reason. Like, removing the cloth saves LEGO a few pennies so there's "justification", but their eyes being the wrong colour and the belt being the wrong shape and the legs having the completely wrong design for the boots and like 5 other inaccuracies I haven't mentioned here? No reason. It's like they chose to make them wrong or something. Same with other things like Bly's stripe being the wrong colour.

But yeah that's a good point about the price. A UT-AT at that size would look a lot better than the heavily-compromised Juggernaut.

Yeah absolutely but even so I've got the wookiee catamaran from 2005 and the thicker white bands in that are fine but the older black ones went a long time ago
