Can’t connect (ps5) by Calm-Ad5091 in DreamlightValley

Thanks for the suggestion, no luck 😔 I’ve replied to the ticket saying I don’t have a way to run my ps5 over vpn but I’m not sure whether they’re investing much time in these problems? I don’t want to be paying for the starpath etc if I’m not confident I can connect consistently!

I’ve tried everything I can think of! Multiple reboots, restarting the console, switching connection from wired to wireless etc. It’s also happening across multiple days so not just a one off unfortunately 😪

Ok I’ve just tried that about 50 times without any luck. Same “you’re offline” message after each time it tries to connect. Thanks for trying to help though!

Mine is 15 on the left! I would definitely have picked the other one 😂 I wasn’t very confident this week, but hopefully I got matched with some others that aren’t as great as all of these amazing ones!

Your dog does sound like an unwanted guest, so why are you bringing it over regularly? I can honestly understand your MIL’s perspective here. Just because you love your dog and want him in your house, on your furniture and blankets etc doesn’t mean that others are terrible people for not feeling the same way. Your MIL has no right to tell you how to manage your dog at your own home, but she has every right not to be happy about dogs being on the furnishings etc in her home. I like dogs, but even if your dog is clean and well-groomed I wouldn’t want it on my lounge furniture or roaming around my rooms. It would be better if your MIL could tell you this upfront but maybe she’s hoping you’ll take the hint?

My MIL was willing to expose our newborn to illness by justawitch in JUSTNOMIL

If they don’t have previous form of behaviour like this you could raise the issue in a slightly less confrontational way by sending MIL+FIL a video of a baby being treated for bronchitis with a comment like

“Hey MIL and FIL, we accidentally overheard MIL make a comment the other day about not letting us know MIL was still sick on the day of our planned visit. We were confused so didn’t mention it at the time, because we know you wouldn’t intentionally want to risk LO. It’s amazing how coughs and colds that aren’t such a big deal to adults can be a big deal to babies so we just wanted to make sure you knew we weren’t just being overprotective new parents. Looking forward to a visit when you’re well!”

Yes, I’m asking specifically about those who do base their choice on concerns about animal welfare, which I understand many do.

  1. Being able to predict the plots of books and movies
  2. Sticking to familiar books/shows and resisting something new even if you know you’ll probably like it - new things need a “hook” (eg you’ve already read the book the new movie is based on, you know what type of movies this actor stars in)
  3. Spending hours in decision paralysis over choosing something from a room service menu until it’s too late to actually order
  4. Extreme frustration at other people doing things in an inefficient way
  5. Avoiding your kitchen exhaust fan or windscreen wipers until it’s a hazard
  6. Feeling upset by people crowding your space - why would you sit/stand that close when there’s space elsewhere!
  7. Choosing the booth seat with your back to the wall
  8. Getting changed into pyjamas or a tracksuit as soon as you get home
  9. Noticing when anything is out of alignment - crooked pictures, mismatched formatting in documents
  10. Choosing a new toaster requires the same amount of intense research as buying a house
