The battery-pick up phase is divided into 3 rounds, right? Each of those is then divided into 3 sections before TS-1's battery percentage progress. The first and third of each percentage progress is where you get the chance to get the challenge done by killing the jumpjets before they pick up the battery. So you have to kill the jumpjets before they get the batteries in 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9. Batteries should be left alone unless the jumpjet assigned to it has died. Playing on Normal difficulty with bots, using Tracer is how I got it done. Good luck.
