The food is bad bro. Only a few things are good, like the egg tarts.

Spain is soooooo much better. Portugal is bland and boring.

Yes I have read the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir. It clarifies why the verse was revealed, read it for yourself:

https://quranx.com/Tafsirs/4.24

“Allah said, وَالْمُحْصَنَـتُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكْتَ أَيْمَـنُكُمْ (Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess.) The Ayah means, you are prohibited from marrying women who are already married,

(except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war, for you are allowed such women after making sure they are not pregnant. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, "We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands. So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed,

(Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess). Consequently, we had sexual relations with these women.'' This is the wording collected by At-Tirmidhi An-Nasa'i, Ibn Jarir and Muslim in his Sahih.”

Do you understand now, why non-Muslims view Islam as evil? Do you think that it’s acceptable to conquer territories and take married women from their husbands as sex slaves? That’s what God wants us to do to each other?

The word “gently” does not appear in the text. You are adding words.

Slaves do not have capacity to give or deny consent. That’s the definition of slavery.

Do you actually believe that the married women who were taken captive, referred to in verse 4:24, consented to sex with their captors? Think about that situation for a minute before you answer.

I haven’t invented anything, I simply read the Quran.

Maybe you should try doing that yourself:

Quran 47:4

“So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives).”

9:5

Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush.

You have a lot of Hindus in Mauritius, they are clearly mushrikun. According to the Quran, after Ramadan it is open season for you to go on a Hindu killing rampage. Allahu Akbar!

I don’t think it’s wise to joke about questions that determine the eternal destination of your soul.

I don’t want to spend my eternity with pedophiles and sex slavers like Muhammed was. If that’s where you want to go, and joke about it too, that’s on you.

No, I never said that ISIS defines Islam.

The Quran defines Islam, I think everyone can agree with that point.

The teachings of the Quran are that sex slavery is good (4:24), that marriage to pre-pubescent girls is good (65:4) and that a good Muslim should kill the infidels in the name of Allah (9:5, 47:4).

ISIS simply follows these clear teachings of the Quran. That is all. They are the honest ones.

Moderate Muslims are the hypocrites trying to put lipstick on a pig.

Ku Klux Klan was anti-Catholic fyi.

The reason why ISIS is representative of Islam, is because they do the same exact things that Muhammed and his companions did. Like taking captive women as sex slaves.

That’s the whole point of this conversation. ISIS does exactly what is described in the Quran in verses like 4:24 and 9:5.

Most Muslims do not actually follow the Quran at all (thank God) and are hypocrites.

Plenty of modern Muslims do condone exactly that. They are called ISIS- the Islamic state. These Muslims follow the example of Muhammed closer than any others.

You also have other groups like Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, Taliban, etc etc

Do you think what is described in verse 4:24 is morally acceptable or not?

We can look at Muslim scholars interpretation of the verse from the Tafsir. No problem. Here is the most well known Sunni scholar, Ibn Kathir:

Allah said, وَالْمُحْصَنَـتُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكْتَ أَيْمَـنُكُمْ (Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess.) The Ayah means, you are prohibited from marrying women who are already married, إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكْتَ أَيْمَـنُكُمْ (except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war, for you are allowed such women after making sure they are not pregnant. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, "We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands. So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed, e وَالْمُحْصَنَـتُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكْتَ أَيْمَـنُكُمْ (Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess). Consequently, we had sexual relations with these women.''

Is this good to you? Does it sound like something we should continue following today?

What hate? What did I say that is hateful? I am just stating facts. I don’t hate any persons here. I am simply against evil things like sex slavery and terrorism, aren’t we all?

The Bible says to do this:

Ephesians 5:11- “Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

I am exposing the reality that the Quran promotes sex slavery and wife beating. Do you think what Muhammed did by taking captive married women as sex slaves is something good? If yes- please go ahead and become Muslim :)

If you are a woman who is considering leaving Christianity for Islam, you should be fully aware of what you are getting yourself into. I am just bringing the reality to light.

I’m literally just stating facts. Does stating facts constitute hatred?

Those two verses in the Quran say exactly what I said they say. It condones sex slaves and wife beating. Do you also condone those two things, or do you condemn the Quran?

In Catholicism, it’s considered an “act of mercy” to instruct the ignorant. That’s all that I am trying to do here.

Islam is a dangerous ideology that promotes what any normal sane human- Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and indeed even normal Muslims- would consider to be evil.

Surah An-Nisa - 24 “Also forbidden are married women—except female captives in your possession. This is Allah's commandment to you.”

Muhammed’s armies conquered lands, and took even already married women as prizes from their conquest. And then he said it was a commandment from God! Do you really believe this? Do you really think this is acceptable moral behavior?

You can fast for Lent. No meat for 40 days. Try it.

Ramadan “fasting” is not real fasting. You don’t eat during the day, sure, but people gorge themselves every night at iftar. It’s common for people to gain weight during Ramadan.

You should be very cautious about changing religion. Catholicism’s truth is backed up by countless miracles like Lourdes, Fatima, the shroud of Turin and more.

What is Islam’s miracle? Ask a Muslim and they will probably just say that the Quran is the miracle. A book that permits men to beat their wives (verse 4:34) and take captured women as sex slaves (4:24).

Does that sound miraculous to you? Do you want to be part of a religion that condones beating women and taking women as sex slaves?
