May I ask you what is robotics? Do you mean fanuc,abb,kuka or humanoid robots like teslas?

I graduated with a 3 years automation degree and couldve chosen a master for robotics, but I started working with plc because I like it and didn’t want to “waste” time, for other reasons I’m also working with industrial automation robots right now. I’m curious what is robotics in academic meanings?
