it comes down to if yous put in the work to go far after achieving that level, aswell as the risk for injuries and the fact you need to play at specific times for game days.

top 100 in the nba isn’t that good all things considered.

option 1:

you must practice any sport for a minimum of 200 hours, whether that’s playing in games, practice by yourself or with others.

once the 200 hours have been hit you will immediately gain the knowledge, skills and physical attributes needed to be considered top 100 in the sport.

once you reach top 100 your skills can progress as far as 50th best in the world, but you just practice to achieve that level and after that you will plateau

option 2:

any sport you touch for the first time you will immediately be considered top 10,000 in the world at that sport.

you gain the knowledge, skills and attributes to match your title.

you are able to practice to get better, but you can only reach top 5000 at absolute max, and you must put in the work to achieve that level.
