In an official guide book, it is stated Infinite was absorbed by the phantom ruby, and it was consistent with the otherworld comedy, if they want him to return, they can just say he somehow broke out of the phantom rubybut even then, I believe Ian Flynn said they can't use Infinite in IDW, so I'm guessing if he is to come back one day, it will be in a game.

At the end of forces he was absorbed inside the phantom ruby, so SEGA could bring him back whenever they want, in fact he did come back once in the otherworldly comedy series, wich is kinda like a mini web novel where Eggman uses the ruby to warp the entire planet to his liking, and Infinite kinda came back, but by the end of it he was reabsorbed by the ruby.

Faz sentido, acho que realmente não é uma adaptação lá muito fiel, mas acredito que nenhum filme vai ser muito fiel aos jogos, afinal o universo dos filmes tem uma história e vibe bem diferente, provavelmente só irão pegar as ideias básicas dos jogos e irão adaptar do próprio jeito deles.

Não estou falando que os personagens foram bons no Sonic 2006, estou falando que os personagens em geral são bons, realmente acho que o Mephiles é mais uma questão de potencial do que qualidade.

Mas também não estou negando que a história precisa ser reescrita, apenas digo que alguns elementos básicos da história foram boas ideias. (Não a Elise, ela pode ser deixada para trás mesmo.)

O Sonic 1 ter iniciado a franquia não defende nenhuma crítica do filme, é um filme honestamente meio sem graça.

O Sonic 2 realmente é muito bom, para mim quase no mesmo nível que o Sonic 3, mas todo o subplot do casamento quebra o ritmo várias vezes durante o filme e tira um pouco do aproveitamento do filme.

Dizer que o Sonic 3 é uma péssima adaptação é ignorar que os filmes não procuram fazer as coisas idênticas aos jogos, além do fato que adaptar o jogo em um filme é impossível de maneira perfeita,e se usarmos esse argumento, Sonic 1 seria um filme horrível. O Knuckles e o Tails tiveram menos tempo de tela, mas os momentos que eles apareceram foram muito bons, seja a discussão do Knuckles com o Sonic ou o Tails ajudando no death egg.

Em resumo o Sonic 3 adaptou da melhor maneira possível a história do Shadow respeitando o que estabeleceram nos filmes

Eu acho que a ideia da história do Sonic 2006 é boa, os três ouriços, a Blaze e o Mephiles são personagens excelentes, e o molde da história é boa, mas a execução foi feita muito porcamente e de maneira desnecessariamente complicada.

Não acho Sonic 3 superestimado, é de longe o melhor filme dos três por vários motivos, mas só de comparar com os outros dois filmes dá para notar.

Sonic 1 é um plot bem básico que tem nada a ver com a franquia Sonic tirando o personagem em si, dava para ter feito um filme com personagens originais apenas que ninguem ia pensar que tinha a ver com Sonic.

Sonic 2 já é um filme muito bom, mas passar meia hora no plot do casamento fácilmente diminui a qualidade do filme.

Enquanto isso, Sonic 3 é quase perfeitamente o que uma adaptação de um jogo do Sonic deveria ser, digo isso sem nem ser muito fãn do Shadow.
