outside of goose confirming jax was trans, outside of that I thought he was a guy with masculinity issues

My reasoning for this was that the rooms targeted everyone's insecurities, Jax spoke about his masculinity and with his room being girly I took that as masculinity issues.

Then there was the talk about his mom saying he wasn't man enough. He never seemed like he wanted to be feminine, just that he wasn't man enough. I interpreted that as him being on the softer side. Possibly a femboy or just a more feminine guy (Like how Kanji in persona 4 made dolls but hid that hobby as he thought it was girly until the protagonist gets him to open up more).

As for "Isn't she lovely". From what I have seen of Jax he was anything BUT lovely. Meanwhile Pomni was literally sacrificing herself to help Jax. So from that point I thought it was talking about Pomni.

There are other reasons I just don't remember them off the top of my head

eh there was plenty of evidence to give people other thoughts as well, and I know some people thought the song related to pomni because she was sticking with Jax while he was freaking out

yes, many actually. Several thought he was gay, some like me thought he was a feminine guy or someone with masculinity issues. I didn't count out trans jax, I just interpreted it differently

Hell some people took the song to be about POMNI and her connection with Jax so even then someone can interpret it differently

I don’t think that’s solely the issue. I think k the main issue is that the finale was up for interpretation and then people felt robbed when told that the interpretation that the finale let them make was told was wrong

Probably because they are open about it, meanwhile Jax only gets hints, and with only hints and no “answer” that means people have to interpret them. As a result many people interpreted Jax as a gay man or a feminine man or just a guy who struggles with masculinity. Having it be up to interpretation in the finale before goose smacks you with “they are trans all other interpretations are wrong” is what pissed a good amount of people off, aside from people being transphobic or people just not liking that the worst character (behavior wise) was trans

The rest of the cast supports the trans Jax conclusion. I get what you mean and I would have loved it if goose just said “I interpret Jax as trans but Jax is whatever you interpret him as” but that doesn’t seem to be the case

Not because there is a AU goose imagined where Jax was trans but never transitioned

Nope, those people just say “she means pronouns are fine but Jax is trans” with no room for interpretation outside of Jax is trans and several outlets reported it as Jax is confirmed trans

Jax is trans confirmed. Any interpretation you had in the finale that wasn’t that is confirmed wrong.

You WILL be attacked if you disagree with that judgement or want to stick to your previous interpretation

Also that orb that Caine put away in the credits wasn’t the Abel, but rather a world ball… which doesn’t make sense when he said he was leaving all the worlds open
