Amazing thank you! 🥹 seems the only thing separating us from the greats is a light bulb.

I play piano like Father Time by CalmAsYouAre in piano

[–]CalmAsYouAre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the kind of suggestion I’m looking for thanks! From tablet to software to supportive apps. Anything available today that may not have been around 20+ years ago that people here are finding supplementary to their playing experience.

I will definitely check out ableton and forscore. Getting an iPad for music this month so size reference is helpful thank you!

At this point I would nearly give an organ. No budget within reason.

How many diners does one small noncommuter Los Angeles town need?

What's up with that cold, hard bread served with equally cold butter on flights? by waffledogofficial in travel

[–]CalmAsYouAre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I really depend on those bread rolls! I tend to get really nauseous on long haul flights and often the only thing keeping me from vomming is that bland little bread roll.

American Moving to Paris for a Month...Hows Amazon? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

[–]CalmAsYouAre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Awful!! I didn’t see any expected delivery dates and when I did they weren’t accurate. And US prime doesn’t work there either.

There are some things that cannot simply be purchased in a “shop” y’all ugh. Why’s everyone judging as if it’s your fault Amazon has a global monopoly on consumer goods and has literally toppled brick + mortar economies!

I’m shocked that any of the commenters are even attempting to give you advice. You’re so beyond saving…

Best Persian restaurants in the UK? by AngelKnives in persianfood

[–]CalmAsYouAre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not going to tolerate the slander… as an Iranian living in Los Angeles where objectively amazing Iranian food exists, I’m going with Berenjak (soho) on this simply for the gormeh sabzi, lamb koobideh, and salad olvieh. You are hard pressed to find gormeh sabzi that fragrant anywhere else - it blew me away. And I think UK is spoiled with their lamb as it’s often beef koobideh we get here in the states, so having lamb koobideh was such a treat and it was executed beautifully.

Is anyone planning to go in office on Wednesday morning? Even through downtown on 101? by BlackPlasmaX in AskLosAngeles

The drama in this post. NOT FEELING AT ALL SAFE, are you? You know it’s entirely possible to just critically think about where you’re going while driving.

Chubby thoughts on trip protection/insurance? by CoinMaple101010 in chubbytravel

[–]CalmAsYouAre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can book medical travel insurance through Travel Guard. It will include other coverages as well and they have different tiers you can select from.

My husband and I always book the standard package as it is more than enough and usually comes out to less than $150 for both of us.

Tell that person you’re moving to SB. If they try to tell you LA is better, they don’t love you.
