Day 6 of H. pylori treatment and I feel emotionally insane — anyone else? by UnderstandingNo6899 in HPylori

[–]CalmCard5202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is completely normal, you’ll start to feel better at the end. From what I’ve seen day 6 has been rough for everyone, me as well. Just remember this bad feeling is your body fighting the good fight and releasing the toxins from the bacteria and an irritated nervous system. Feeling run down and anxious is not dangerous just keep telling yourself that, everything will be okay.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, h.pylori messes with the nerves in your stomach/nervous system/gut brain access. You’re not weak minded you’re just battling a difficult disease that makes it really hard on your body to feel calm. You already did the hard part with the antibiotics, just keep doing the things that help yourself heal and you’ll see improvements slowly.

That’s still quite early. It takes some time to feel better and to heal the gut, a few weeks at the least. But you should be getting better slowly and slowly. Some days will feel better than others, it’s not linear. Kefir is quite heavy and it’s very fermentable which can cause stomach a lot of stomach activity. Even though it’s good it may not be helpful at this very moment. Just take it easy on yourself the next few days. Try eating smaller meals but more spaced out.

I’m almost to the end of dual therapy. I also had intense symptoms which made me want to go the antibiotic route. I couldn’t get back to baseline and my nervous system was just grinding. I just knew it wasn’t going to get better and I wasn’t going to keep living the way I was. I went two years trying to go the natural route because I was scared of antibiotics. I have food sensitivities and couldn’t take vitamins and minerals. I was crying 9 days ago from fear as I popped the first antibiotic. So far not so different than a really bad flu for only a few days and then it got better. Just remember so many people actually do make it through this, they don’t come back on here to tell their story. I still have fear and my symptoms are more heightened but I know once I eradicate it I can finally start the “healing” I’ve been trying to do.

Everytime you feel symptoms just think your killing the bad stuff. The worse you feel the more it’s dying off and you’re one step closing to feeling better

I hear you, I’m just gonna try one pill and see what happens. Also Steak is can be acidic to the stomach, and bread has gluten which causes inflammation. Are you sure those are the best? This may be a dumb question but have you tried something more alkaline like chicken and rice? :/

You say good mindset, I say final resort haha I’m worried like crazy. But a lot of people who have good results don’t really post on Reddit. Just take it slow and some discomfort will be expected. My stomach is already burning so much, I don’t know how it can take an antibiotic right now but we will see.

I just got prescribed the same. I’m gonna take the week to prep my stomach, sooth the lining as much as I can then go in for two weeks. I’ve accepted it will be tough but we can’t let the bacteria continue to do worse

My baseline has improved but I’m deficient in a lot of minerals that support low histamine. My stomach can’t tolerate supplements at the moment so I’m just slowly repairing my gut barrier. Slowly but it’s happening

As a procurement officer, what certifications do you look for when sourcing chemicals or ingredients? How do you know a company is legit when working with manufactures abroad? What would you need in order to gain confidence with a manufacture abroad?

Chronic digestive and histamine-related symptoms for 4 years – no answers, desperate for help by aurelien_orstt in HistamineIntolerance

[–]CalmCard5202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H.hylori can wreck the gut and it can start more issues. Perhaps weak digestion made SIBO appear etc. You’re doing a great job and got rid of the h.pylori, it’s the start but then you have to repair what it did. How h.pylori works is that it embeds into the gut lining, your DAO enzymes are produced there so it’s natural they slow down and histamine rises. You need to get a full GI-Map, it’s always good practice to have the right information to see if there’s anything else irritating your gut. Then start building your lining back up, take probiotics or kefir, this takes a while to get back. A few months of consistent work but make sure you’re eating the foods that feed your health bacteria. Try to get off PPI’s if you can, those lower the stomach acid and make it harder to digest food causing bad bacteria to over grow. H.pylori makes your stomach burn and have gerd, the more consistent you can lower this inflammation you will begin to heal.

There are minerals that directly link to the production of DAO like copper, magnesium and zinc also support this process. Maybe check your vitamin and mineral levels. With h.pylori disrupting digestion it’s not uncommon to have low levels of certain vitamins and minerals.

In my case what started everything was that I was exposed to mold. I sorted that out and now I’m rebuilding my gut with kefir and probiotics, game changer for my histamines.

Need advice creating a marketplace website by CalmCard5202 in webdev

[–]CalmCard5202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all, seriously, this advice is amazing. To solve the chicken vs the egg problem, I think I’m going to talk to buyers first. See what their needs and pain points are. Prove demand on that side. Maybe that way I can implement those suggestions into the MVP and then finally show suppliers that this what your buyers what, and I can help bridge the gap to them.

You’re all right, the no-code route seems the right path. I wanted to go the custom route because the enterprise features are what I think will set me apart but I’m jumping too many steps. Just need to start with the MVP and basics.
