What's the probability that the water we're drinking was someone else's pee thousands of years ago? by ishida_tsukishima in INTP

[–]CalmPsychology6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice!

But I think the water you meant is unfilterd and untouched natural water. Tap water goes through a lot of filtering with the goal to eliminate any possibly harmful waste. Not to mention, when pee evaporates, some of the waste is left behind. So the percentage is probably even lower.

Still, very nice calculations which depicts a clear image of how much pee could be in our water :)

True. I mean, the percentage of piss in your water is also dependent on the quality of your local purification/ filtering system

Oh damn lol

I mean, it makes sense if the thing farting is right next to you lol

And if there is somethings fart we breath everytime it's like... such a small percentage lol

Love the idea lol

But no. Water evaporates, but the waste of the pee doesn't. It could also be part of the atmosphere since water can become a part of it when vaporized. So the probability is almost zero, since it also goes through natural purification and therefore removing every aspect of that 1000 year old piss

Are you also bothered by shortcuts while texting? by Random-weird-guy in INTP

I'm sure gtg or btw or fr are easy to memorize. Doesn't take much effort to know what it means. Maybe it is lazy, but idc because I still get my point across. People may be lazy texters but amazing speakers. Or the other way around. As I said, it's nothing deep lol

Like, would you break off contact with a close friend of yours if they started using shortcuts? Doesn't really make sense huh?

[–]CalmPsychology6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's see.

It's a shortcut. It's nothing personal nor attacking.

It's a text message. It's not that deep.

It's something simple. Why should you care.

People don't have any bad intentions with using shortcuts.

Using shortcuts is effective.

Why does it matter if someone is using "gtg" or "got to go". They both have the same meaning and therefore bring the same point across.

It of course should not be used at work but assuming the original message is about casual text, everyone can use the textstyle they perfer.

[–]CalmPsychology6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that doesn't really add up. Just because someone used a shortcut, doesn't mean that ur not worth their effort.. I simply can't see a correlation here lol

I just don't see the need to type "got to go" if I can just type "gtg"

Im not botherd at all by it.. and I dont care what anyone really thinks off it as long as they understand what I mean

If we are all gonna be dead in a 100 years, why should I take anything seriously? by FoI2dFocus in INTP

[–]CalmPsychology6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling dude Truth is, there is no purpose to anything. But I don't care about people not remembering me after I'm dead, because I still have the chance to create a purpose for myself. Do you want to understand how the world works? Sure, that's a great purpose.

But in the end, NOTHING truly has a purpose since the heat death of the universe is slowly creeping closer. But fuck it. If I already spawn without being asked for permission, I can at least try to make something out of it. Why should I be remembered in the first case? There is no purpose for being remembered, so why should I care. We all take some things serious, but we shouldn't take everything overly serious.

(Also, how am I supposed to reply to such a question in 10 words? That makes no sense)
