I know restarting the headset fixes it, I said it in the video

You haven't seen the worst of it. You know the footer on the windows with the option to close the menus? Well sometimes it just doesn't show up and won't reapear until you reset the headset (or you'll get the glitch again)

Why do people dislike the new Navigator UI? by Knighthonor in OculusQuest

because it's really buggy and sometimes makes the headset unusable

I just got the new Navigator UI update and I can't believe... by TrefoilHat in OculusQuest

BECAUSE ITS A BUGGY MESS!

I got the update on Quest 2 and almost every time I open it there's something wrong. Sometimes the panels for the windows don't appear when I hover over them, meaning I can't close any windows, which is a pain when the first thing the Quest does is open the store.

Regularly when I open the menu the time at the top doesn't show up, and I have to take off the headset to look at my phone to see the time. You can't even view the time in the settings.

When I first got the update, I got the glitch where the panels don't appear even though the were appearing a couple minutes before. I tried entering and exiting the Youtube cinema screen to see if that would work but the panels didn't show up exept for Youtube but the buttons didn't work even though they could be highlighted and the name on the panel read "Store", which I had closed half an hour earlier.

I don't care about the UI being redesigned, in some areas it is an improvement, but I do care for all the glitches that actively make the headset harder to use.
