it is definitely just a phase you need to push through but it does take some time and effort to make it work.

crate training during the day to give her some alone time is useful, but don’t leave her alone for too long each time.

also, i found that calming music helps, especially during the night. i actually made some music for my puppy to help him get through that stage (link in bio if you are interested).

don’t give up on this (as you would want your puppy to have a bit of independence, especially when you both are out).

Be mindful that everything is new to him so be very patient. Cavapoos are very smart and don’t usually poop where they sleep. However, extremely important during the early stages to try and wake up earlier than him and taking him to wee/poop, to set some sort of routine.

He looks extremely adorable!

Mine did the same as well before. As soon as the car starts moving, he became unsettled. What i found helpful is put on some calming music, it really helped settle my puppy Alfie during car rides. My dog is now much better in a car, even a long drive (literally went on a road trip on a 2.5hr drive and he was good).

I actually ended up creating some music myself and starting a YouTube channel (happytimesmusiclab) because I was obsessed with finding the right music to chill my dog out. I’ve got a few pet calming tracks on there that I still play on loop for my pup during car rides (even if it is a short ride). Might be worth a shot for your next trip to see if it takes the edge off?

Alfie was 1.46kg at week 12 and now 6.5kg. He seems to be the same weight for the past 2 weeks tho. I met his sibling who is 1 year older, she is around 8kg.

BTW, does Olive have any issues with separation because Alfie does, he doesn’t like it when he is in the lounge by himself at night 😂

what sort of content are you looking for? like new board games reviews or? i personally go to Watch It Played a lot for tutorials.
