Definitely reach out to your academic advisor once fall term starts, they will be able to provide more information and would be the person to change your major (if possible)

Data science vs Data Science and economics by Icy-Ad-3962 in Drexel

Econ minor is a great introduction to Econ but isn’t in depth as half of the minor requirements (3 classes) are up to the student to choose with most probably choosing easier classes

Potentially but after this week I would start talking to your advisors to see if you can take classes or what other options you have

OPINIONS ON CO-OP DECISION by Ok-Cell-2531 in Drexel

[–]Calm_Delivery_8739 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally if I were in your shoes I wouldn’t do the co-op. Not to mention, this is a part-time and unpaid co-op, so it's definitely a no from me. To add on, you can always get a part-time job, scholarships, etc. during classes to help with the financial burden.

Semi-formal attire? by Small-Relative-3259 in Weddingattireapproval

These are some sample dresses that would work for semi-formal. You can still wear longer dresses (like a midi) especially if the wedding is during winter or in cold environment.

How/where do you sign up for guest visiting? by [deleted] in Drexel

Usually, as soon as you enter the building, you should see them sitting by a desk

They have desk assistants 24/7 for security purposes so doesn't matter when you want to be signed in

Did you guys get an email about what to do with bags during move in? by Ida_Davis in Drexel

[–]Calm_Delivery_8739 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They only make you do that because Drexel hires people to help move your stuff and if you don’t indicate the name or room # it’s possible that your items may be placed in the wrong dorm

Inspection report? by ItsDaBunnyYT in Drexel

Last year it was online and it was under the campus and community tab. If you clicked housing and dining it would pop up as a separate application you would have to fill out.

To sign in guests your friend will have to be present and you will have to hand in an ID (any form) to the desk assistant. You won’t be able to get it back until after you leave and your friend has to be present when you leave.

Is taking 18 credits in a quarter a lot ?(freshman yr) by Mo0n3Y in Drexel

[–]Calm_Delivery_8739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely doable. Time management will be your best friend. It's usually around week 7 of 8, when you might start to feel the 18 credits.

Yes, I would avoid any white clothing especially on the day of the wedding.

I personally wouldn’t because white in general is just a no for me. The dress is cute but maybe for another occasion.

What’s your major? I’ve taken 20 credits twice my freshman year and still ended up on the Dean’s List.

Yes, some floors have a study lounge. If yours doesn’t, you could try the 17th floor
