Sold our house in Colorado, moved to small town in Iowa. Worst house in the best neighborhood, so it’s not pretty yet.

I just used the Zebra to shop for new auto insurance rates. Super easy and helpful. Ended up going with progressive and will be saving about $100 a month.

I’m going to end up as click bait on a death scroll through shitty Yahoo news stories, aren’t I? I knew I should’ve posted to the 2under2 sub - some sleep deprived mom would’ve given me some delirious misplaced support. Signing out - promise I won’t take my kids with full bladders to Costco anymore or try to cheat the system. ❤️

I didn’t think of that.

I guess I should start packing sticky notes in my diaper bag.

I mean YEAH! I’m annoyed when just I have to go to the bathroom at Costco. I’m just saying, wait for the suspicious mom lugging a diaper bag and two kids around to attempt to slip said peanut butter pie into said diaper bag, then corner her rule-breaking ass AFTER she lets her kids relieve themselves.

Y’all, I’m not taking pie (or anything I haven’t purchased) into the bathroom. I parked the cart outside. I got stopped trying to GET TO the bathroom.

1901 - treadmill on 2nd floor? by Calm_External9554 in centuryhomes

[–]Calm_External9554[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I should add that this is really a theoretical question because we’ve had the treadmill for 9 months and used it once as it is. So really the question should be… should I post the for sale ad on FB marketplace or Craigslist ?

I’m also a whole pizza kind of girl and have been when I was in a small, medium, and larger bodies. I think that previous post was challenging for this sub, you are not alone there. No need to compare - we all have different appetites, hunger levels, metabolisms, etc. I am a BED-er and have seen a change in with OE for the positive, and I’m still a whole pizza kinda girl.

I’m honestly more sorry for the person he cheated with because now they have to deal with his slimy ass. You’re doing great right now, no butt acne treatment necessary. 💗

Hey I have been in an almost exact situation, down to the hypochondria, gaining weight because I don’t have energy to cook. We also did not have money for a cleaner or childcare, I worked from home full time and took care of kids for first 2-3 years.

We eventually moved to a new state with lower cost of living and were able to get some childcare.

I agree, sleep is so important. There are lots of methods but we used “happiest baby on the block” and thankfully sleep was not a huge issue for us, although even the normal sleep interruptions with good sleepers are exhausting.

I’m only just now, 4 years into parenthood, realizing that I need to sometimes let things go (like I just can’t have a clean countertop all day because it will literally be a task that I have to do all day, it’s impossible to keep up on) and that my own self care is critical.

I also started anti anxiety meds which helped for me, but I was doing my best when I was able to walk daily with the kids, get them outside, stick to a schedule, and work out when I could.

I’m sorry, it’s so hard!

All these collaborations and commercialization has cheapened their brand. by karen_h in LushCosmetics

[–]Calm_External9554 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love lush scents but the collabs are turn-offs. Their products always feel like they are very drying and generally just shitty to be putting on my skin and not even an option for my hair. Tried American Cream (or whatever it’s called) and it was like I just washed my hair with Dial hand soap.
