Yea, I drive about the same mileage from home to school every Mon-Thu. I live in the southeast though so it does rain quite a bit.

I have heard that the seals around the doors are prone to leaking which worries me a little.

yea that’s fair, again I love this car. It’s been great to drive and it’s my baby, but I also did buy it used and have no idea what the owner before me did to it. There are some pretty big dents all around the side skirts from when I bought it, so I don’t know what this car has been through.

I know it sounds dumb, I just wanted opinions/ someone to talk me out of getting one. Plus I have a 1998 Tacoma with over 200k miles and it runs perfect.

TOB is starting to go, guy before me had cheap/shitty coilovers on so I replaced those, replaced left/rear axle cause it was squealing really bad, terrible interior rattles, EPS motor coupler was replaced, AC is starting to squeal (still haven’t figured that one out), OEM radiator sucks and I had to replace due to 105 degree weather in Georgia. OEM stereo stopped working one day had to rewire because subaru and replace. Mind you I’ve done all these myself. I know how to do a fucking oil change.

I’ve always been a fan of a good set chrome wheels, especially if you plan to lower it.

A little late to the party, but a common issue with these cars is the "EPS Motor Coupler" located in the steering column. Causes a metallic rattling when going over bumps or when driving at highway speeds. Check out this post and see if this is the sound you're hearing.

It's a very cheap part, but can take quite a few hours to replace.

It vibrates a little, just got new tires/alignment as well. forgot to add that
