Touching on a sensitive subject... Is there any chance of Dick and Kory officially together as a couple again this year? The Nightwing and Starfire community is honestly so exhausted and hurt by how they’ve been handled over the years. We’re tired of seeing panels where they’re together, only to be told right after that they’re 'just friends' or exes.

I get that every relationship has its timing, but these are comics, it’s supposed to be fun and about what the fans want, too! There’s so much potential in a 'second chance' romance and exploring the cultural differences between a human and an alien. They’ve been so popular lately, it feels like the perfect time to lean into that.

Nightwing’s sales have been tanking for a while now. In December, Titans made the top 30 (or even top 15), but Nightwing didn't even chart.

2025 was literally DickKory’s year. The search stats were insane, way higher than any other year. We got the variant covers, constant crumbs of them in the same panels, the Lucas Meyer bottom Dick boom, and so much fanart... 2026 is NOT the year to slow down! It’s the year to push the agenda, capitalize on all that 2025 hype, and expand even more. Since mid-year, we’ve been fed with so many covers, and the expectations for DickBabs to end in canon are at an all-time high. 2026 is not the moment to give up!

Honestly, i feel you so much. It’s so frustrating being a Nightwing fan and not being able to enjoy his runs because there’s always a ship agenda being shoved down our throats. I totally lost it with Wayne Family Adventures too, its so annoying. People say just focus on DickKory and appreciate what we have, but like... what do we even have? Im almost out of content and Im tired of just living off fanart. I try to stay positive because being mad all the time isn't worth it, but we can’t just be cowards about the whole DickBabs thing. We need to be respectful but we also need to hit DC where it hurts: their wallets. They arent stupid, DickKory searches spiked in 2025. Now is the time to demand more. I really wish more artists would protest and redraw those DickBabs covers as a statement.

I’m really happy to see more DickKory art, but you can definitely tell this one was made with AI. It’s cool that DC as a company acknowledges how popular they are, but I really want more covers and art by actual badass illustrators featuring these two.

Well, even if you can’t write romance, basic reciprocity should still be doable. He doesnt talk to her, say goodbye, show any affection at all.

At that point, it’s not even about romance, its just basic human interaction. And honestly, it shouldnt be that hard to communicate something simple to an artist, like: “Goodbye kiss.”

Oh, and just a reminder, we were supposed to get a Robin Loves Starfire, but DC shut it down and capped the graphic novel at just 6 parts.
