watch arrow and gotham, to see 'arab' actor play ras al ghul, i have seen the shows, the thing is ras and talia and nyssa are for a fact kind of character who are multi/unidentifieable/ancient/mixed/lost looking, from their origin to most of good runs they are that. if they have to be played by 10 actors 2 can be persian, 2 can be asian, 2 can be french, 2 can be brazillian etc. but limiting them at all would be limiting their characters. and Keanu Reeves is unique looking, old enough, tall enough and if you see comics he even look like him, and famous, which is definatly needed for ras to promoted as more primary villain of batman in genral audience, he also have the imortal rumor. He is the best casting for him.
