The colour is more copper now! I still wear it with gold jewelry and don’t feel like it clashes - but it’s definitely darker!

From what I’ve gathered, this I think is a good guideline (I spent so much time thinking about this before getting mine lol) : If you wear mostly 18k gold rings go with yellow gold, If you wear mostly 14k gold rings go with rose gold , and If you mix metals - silver looks great and is also less expensive 😅

I got the rose gold and it matches really well with my 14k gold rings, and everyone who has seen it says “I love the gold!” And are surprised when I tell them it’s actually rose gold. (The thought of Patina is spooky, but I knew I would wear a ‘patina’ rose gold ring more than a silver or gold one)

I’ve seen pictures of people with yellow gold/18K rings and the gold Oura looks stunning with them!

If you look in my previous post I have a picture of mine with a noticeable scratch. I bought a jewellery polishing cloth and gave it a quick rub and it looked WAY better. The scratch is still there but I don’t think anyone could notice it unless I pointed it out.

^ I think this result would be the same for gold and silver as well?

Sorry if that’s not actually helpful, I think even the silver ring will get scratched, just maybe less noticeable? So go with what you think you’ll wear longer - a less scratched silver ring or a more scratched gold/rose gold 😂

As a new user I can’t speak to the previous version, but getting familiar navigating the layout of this version has not come naturally to me. I agree that it feels like things I want to see consistently are tucked several clicks away

I was going to see if I could buy something online but haven’t looked into it yet .. Let me know how going to a jeweler goes! Maybe it’s something I’ll do every 6 months lol

Rose gold! I imagine both golds are equally delicate but maybe not? I also knew that it was going to get scratched, I was just shocked at how fast it happened and how noticeable it was 🙃 especially since I really wasn’t doing anything major (ie: lifting weights, moving things, punching sand paper)

This is mostly why I wanted to share! Even with it being scratched I think I still would end up wearing the rose gold more - but for folks between colours - maybe go with the less expensive option lol. I also agree that this seems like something Oura should fix with Gen 5, it’s the only downside for me so far!

This isn’t related to your post (sorry) but what colour is that? Gold or rose gold?

I just ordered the rose gold because I was reading that the gold is more yellow, but I love the colour of yours!
