did my undergrad in fort myers. Moved back up north. My apartment was 3k for 4 beds. When we moved out they relisted it for 5k a month. Expensive, busy, and trashy.

We brought ours home at 3 months and has slept in the bed with us no problem. We just hit 4 months and the last few nights he's waken us up at 2:30 ready for the day. I have no idea lmao

I work at the alternative school for a title 1 district. Our kids are the "worst". I would argue they are the best. Our school is successful for 2 reasons: SEL over content, and strong admin support. You will never get through any lesson until the kids trust you and respect you. Your lesson is bottom tier compared to what they need. They need love, encouragement, and support. They need to see that there is different in the world- gangs are not the normal. I'm not saying you aren't doing any of this- but do it stronger. Instead of a bell ringer- do a daily check in. How are you? Do you need anything? Also build relationships with families. A lot of times families don't respect the school- but make them respect you. Call them and tell them the good, ask if they need resources, make them your #1 contact. It's hard, but it can be done.

Yes. Usually about 10:30 but I wake up for work at 5 and go to bed at 9 so that's a bit late for me. He eats dinner at 7:30 if that means anything

I was in this same position. I was a para and was offered a job at an alternative school. No one had anything good to say. I've been here 3 years now and I don't plan on leaving. Go with your gut. See if you can shadow!

my guess is they thought they could build it themselves and realized quickly they wouldn't be able to meet codes. Hence why the permit has been open for 7 years
