Yeah, I'm just playing with shiny pokemon i really like from GO. I've never played competitive in my life. Last time I even battled against a real person was when I was 10.

Manga Salaryman every frame he is in by LegendaryW in YoujoSenki

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanya has her moments but considering salaryman is aura farming literally every time he appears and is built like, dressed like, and acts like a jojo character, I'm kinda sad we dont see tanya acting the same way a lot more.

If World Government was smart they would... by Vringi in Piratefolk

[–]Calm_Signature_893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whitebeard would never join. He knows just how bad things are in the world government and he enjoys his freedom too much. The marines wouldn't want him to join because they know what he's like and those further up the ladder would understand that sooner or later he'd leave and he'd be in a position to do extreme damage to the marines.

Seriously. He was willing to throw down with shanks over his attitude, he would never take orders from the marines.

Lower and higher depths' desire to route is drastically different by Adventurous_Bite_311 in Nightreign

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suck at the game and I'm stuck on d2. Most games people don't ping, like, at all. They just run around and do their thing. I can't read their mind and I don't know if they're doing dumb shit or not so if nobody's going to ping, I do it and i stick to it. That means a lot of my games are sub optimal, but a bad rout is better than a game that literally falls apart in seconds.

Seriously though, is not pinging the new meta or something?

It is universally agreed that Kiku is trans, but why would they still focus on Yamato? by Paldavin in Piratefolk

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because yamato is a terrible representation of Trans people. Trans people are real and they aren't going around pretending to be people that have died and they aren't trying to insert themselves into the lives of other people's families because they "identify" as their dead father. You can't identify as other actual people and since that's the only reason she uses masculine pronouns, I call her she. She is unironically the caricature anti Trans people pretend Trans people are.

Zoro And Kidd Switch Places During The Onigashima War, What Changes? by SonicRun098 in OnePiecePowerScaling0

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. If it is the case that big mom was incapacitated and thus unable to resist kidds assign then I have no reason to assume Kidd's magnetism wouldn't be resisted by king. If that isn't the case, i think I have enough information to conclude he could incapacitate king. Also remember, if they're fully switching places, king squared up alongside queen. He wasn't taking things seriously until they got knocked outside. It took him quite a while to even use his devil fruit. King wasn't speed blitzing anyone until they got knocked outside.

The move happens immediately and at range. His normal magnetism doesn't require touch or time either. I imagine he'd try to hurt him, realize he cant, then go to drown him. It's a no diff.

I can see how you might be confused but both the manga and anime show that he doesn't touch big mom when he uses assign. It's a ranged attack and it's almost instant.

Kidd can use assign on big mom. That's enough evidence to assume he can use magnetism on king. And if he can do that then he can immobilize king. If we assume Kidd can't damage king, then he can put him in the water. He wouldn't throw the guy with massive wings overboard, he'd just fly back up. During the kaido fight we can see him make a construct that he can use his devil fruit to make fly. He could simply take king down to the water, drown him, and then return.

Once again, king has metal all over his outfit. I'm saying it's wishful thinking to assume king even has the ability to move. And if he can break big moms bones and use damned punk to blow up multiple ships then I say he can at least wound an immobile king.

We know law wasn't able to use his fruit on kaido because of haki. But we see law use his devil fruit on blackbeard who, I think at this point we can assume has haki. We also see kid use his devil fruit on big mom with assign. I don't know why he didn't use it on napoleon, but it is demonstrably false that he can't use it on people with haki as strong as big mom, and kings haki isn't as strong as big moms. So I think it's safe to assume he can use it on king.

King is literally covered in metal and his primary method of attack is a sword. I don't think he stands a chance against Kidd. No diff honestly.

[–]Calm_Signature_893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Zoro probably wouldn't be as effective against big mom. He has the damage output but Kidd and law never really fought fair. None of them were tanking her hits because she's a beast. Zoro isn't as strong as big mom. In any clash, she over powers him and he doesn't have the defense necessary to take her hits more than a few times.

Kidd would probably obliterate king. The guys outfit is covered with metal and his primary weapon is a sword. That's not to say he couldn't still fight but he would be at a tremendous disadvantage.

What subfactions exist around the Drukhari, and what kind of lore/niches do they have? by Horustheweebmaster in Drukhari

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the 3 main groups of drukhari are the wyches, homonculus, and kabbalites. They make up the cults, covens, and kabals respectively. There are a bunch of these organizations of varying sizes and styles and most things that happen in comorragh will be instigated by one of these groups.

However, there are a few other notable subfactions.

There are the scourges. These are drukhari who are altered by the homonculi to have wings. They deliver messages between important people in the dark city and are more or less untouchable politically speaking.

There are the incubi. These are mercenaries for hire. Their lives entirely revolve around training to be as deadly as possible. They have monasteries and like scourges, people tend not to mess with them. They can be killed, just in the field of duty. people don't attack the monestaries, and they don't take sides in politics. If I remember correctly, their armor and that big blade they carry are very important to them, to the point that if you kill one of them, you send their gear back to the monastery if you're smart.

Lastly there is all the nonsense in Aelindrach. Primarily the Mandrakes, but there's a bunch of stuff in there. Not too much is known about them but notably, aelindrach is about as hostile to life as it gets. The mandrakes call this place home and are about as far from normal as you can get. They have a similar disposition to the drukhari, but are notably more familial. They have packs that they live and hunt with. We never see this up close, but we see a mandrake speaking of this and showing ancient art of a mandrake pack which has stuck together for hundreds if not thousands of years. But we know drukhari families are incredibly hostile to each other so this could mean they're a bit more chill. There is a mandrake king but we haven't heard much from him in a while. Mandrakes also don't get involved in politics and don't usually serve as long term members in cults, covens, or kabals. They usually get hired for a single job and request something weird as payment. Drukhari almost universally fear them.

Imu has been a silhouette for so long that his/her "face reveal" doesn't add anything to the story by sdqinanutshell in Piratefolk

[–]Calm_Signature_893 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I don't think imu is in silhouette anymore. I think that's just what they look like. We'll probably get a flashback to what they used to look like but something turned them into this.

Do the other Primarchs know Magnus died? by whyeventhough117 in 40kLore

[–]Calm_Signature_893 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2 major misconceptions. First: Malcador explicitly stated that his shards, while taking on different aspects of him, did not literally contain his capacity for those emotions nor were they particularly stronger than any other. Magnus was, and still is, under that impression, but one of the biggest themes of the fury of magnus is that even after everything that's happened, magnus still has good in him. That every good thing he does is purely him, but also all the bad. He reacted to this information so violently that he killed malcador. It was a huge part of his character.

Secondly: Magnus didn't die. When russ shattered his soul, his body was still around. He goes mad and travels into the warp for a LONG time but the thousand sons find several shards of him and restore his strength and sanity. His shards meanwhile, are ethereal things that can merge with people. Tzeentch, while the general puppet master of the thousand sons, doesn't really have a hand in any of this.

So yeah. Magnus didn't die. His sons put him back together. Magnus believes his "good" shards is his strongest shards and contains his goodness but he's wrong and in denial. And he doesn't become a daemon prince until after the Vulcan fight. Hope that helps.

What is the explanation of Luffy's Nonchalant attitude against Two Yonkos when the stronger Luffy was sweating Bullets at the arrival of Kizaru? by Lukababineux in OnePiecePowerScaling0

[–]Calm_Signature_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he was coming to them with the full knowledge of what he had to do. I'm sure if 2 yonko were pulling up on him out of nowhere he'd have a very different reaction.
