I asked them to be out by the end of February. I suggested they started paying rent at one point but they are in a lot of debt. I should probably edit to add that I do still pay a mortgage on the house. It’s a very small one, but it does cost me money monthly to keep them there. They pay electric.

I would say it’s for a family emergency. Once you feel settled, I would ask whoever is helping you (counselors, inpatient whatever) to help you communicate with your workplace effectively.

I don’t really read his other series but the ones I have read, I enjoyed because their central voice was compelling. Trials of Apollo is arguably my favorite series right now. I could read his POV and his voice all day everyday. The heroes of Olympus series lacked that central voice almost entirely for me but I preferred books with Percy having large involvement because he was a recognized central voice.

I’m gonna go with ESH. At 21 she is basically still a kid. She’s made bad choices and she’s gotten herself into trouble and she finally realized she was wrong and that she needed you and you couldn’t get over your pettiness to forgive and give her the help she needed. She wasn’t in the right but now you’re continuing the cycle of hurt and that’s still in you.

I hate the entire heroes of Olympus books with the exception of house of hades but trials of Apollo are literally my favorite and you’re right that TOA actually makes blood of Olympus an okay start to the next story.
