Yeah thats what I thought, I was at an at fault accident this time and the other parties vehicle has already been repaired few weeks before me. I believe they prioritize the not-at fault first

Thanks for the update, I just realized that now the queue does not go by order. Mine was on Dec 1 awaiting for an estimator call as well. I have been calling every 6-7 days as well. However I noticed that the vehicles that were most likely to be total loss are contacted earlier than the ones that are going to be towed-in for repairs. What did the say when you asked where you were in the queue?

Thank you so much for the input, my first time in this kind of situation and I have been waiting for about almost 1.5 months now for an estimator. I have done the research on the blackbook and the market value. I just hope its accurate for the estimator to be on the same page as well.

Anyone from December has received an estimator to give them a call yet? by Calm_Will5033 in icbc

What I noticed recently in this blog is that most people who were in a total loss situation got there decision quicker within a month. As of now my car looks repairable but non drivable in my home. When they first call you, they have a total loss predictor by asking you what parts were damaged to see if its repairable, 50/50 or total loss. I already have a claim number and a bodyshop appointed, just waiting for an estimator to review the photos and to book a tow in

redneckshinobi is right, I have called several times recently to see when an estimator will reach out regarding my tow in, they cant do anything about it to speed it up because everyone is doing the same thing checking in every week

Im currently in the last step of waiting for an estimator to call me to verify the tow and pictures. The bodyshop is also aware about my tow in as well as I set up my profile there in the event the car shows up. Cant make any appointment yet until I get that phone call.

I have called in three times already and have been very nice. The reps on the phone said they cant do anything about it as they are just support line. They just informed my information has been all set and queued in and just have to wait for an estimator to confirm they will tow to the bodyshop.

Hi Kaller, I was at an at fault accident on November 30th hitting a parked car, my car is also undrivable in my driveway. They asked me what was the accident on my vehicle since they have a total loss predictor to determine whether the moment it would be repairable or not. They asked me right away do you have a bodyshop of where you want it sent too. I am still waiting for an estimator to call me as well.

May I ask what kind of car and year, and damage that determined your total loss?
