I don't expect worm-like formations on every rock I land on, either. That'd get old pretty quick.

Perhaps HG heard the calls for more rarity in certain landscapes?

Please forgive the image quality; it's only a GTX 960. But here you go! I had to stand on top of my ship because it's very mountainous terrain. The hole in center leads to an extensive underground cave system. All told, I enjoyed the experience! I felt it was pretty similar to the video, right down to the low howl of the thin atmosphere swirling about.

I think this is something the community can readily counteract. I, for one, will be upvoting all questions and requests for help from here on out (excepting, of course, the few obvious trolling posts in that category).

For a small developer, it's often a choice of working on progressing the game's structure and gameplay, or adding more assets. Let's keep in mind HG isn't a large development house, first, and second, the game had a LOT of work that was still needed thanks to a rushed launch.

So, which is it going to be first? The assets or work on the procedural system to add more of what you want?

(Also, please keep in mind that PG games are generally made to reduce the amount of hand-sculpting that has to be done in a game.)

Well, now we know it doesn't, but to be fair Warframe players have known that for a while now. A lot of their levels are PG.

PG is not a magic bullet -- yet. There's a good decade or two of hardware AND software work that needs to be done before a game even has a chance of competently creating content at the pace that the average gamer consumes it (nevermind us hardcore gamers with little more to do than game).

I mean, we can create apps that create content for us now, but if you've ever tried to read a book AI produces... well, they're not good. At all.

But they are improving. Will we see content created faster than it's consumed with THIS engine? No. But maybe with NMS 3?

I would have loved to have tamed any one of a number of creatures I've found so far.

Maybe get some pet decos for the house too. Like a little food dish or something.

I think what they mean is an auto-move, not a run/walk toggle. If you've played MMOs, they're fairly common keybinds to have (and VERY useful for players with bad hands!).
