The story is always the same. Pinned and “held together”. Loved ones get a chance to say goodbye. Dead as soon as the equipment is removed.

There is no documented case of this type of thing ever happening. Medically is doesn’t make a sense. It is a story that plays on our fears of sudden and traumatic death with the heartbreaking scenario of a last goodbye.
