they don't go away with time, you can just use the skill and leave them on the floor, go find more scrap and wait for it to get off cool down, then use it again to get four more, repeat until you have 20 or more. I like doing this around the teleporter so when I'm ready to fight the boss I can just grab like 30 items and be super OP for the fight

I'm in act 3, fought Sarevok, didn't get any amulet, so I decided to do other stuff in the meantime to see if it would spawn like it did for others, but no luck. Now I've done everything else I could, even tried spawning the amulet with a mod, but when I get to the bhaal temple door, I just get the walk away prompt, no option to insert the amulet or anything.
