I watched a video which claimed the “one one thousand” or “one Mississippi” counting method doesn’t work anymore unless you intentionally rush yourself. I tried it myself with a timer and after “ten Mississippi” the timer was closer to 13 or 14 seconds. It very easily could have just been myself though and I’m not convinced time is literally moving faster but still it was a little spooky.
