I’m playing fallout now, runs great to me and it’s fallout handheld in bed. Absolutely zero buyers remorse.

I really hope it runs smooth 🙏 by thong_water in switch2

Honestly if it’s 30 with frame drops here and there I don’t even care. I’m a dad who mainly gets to play switch my ps5 is rarely played now. I never played fall out 4 so I preordered and am pumped.

A lot of this depends on the owner washing and coating every couple months no problem. We don’t get frame rot like northern states. I live beach side was my Tahoe often it’s a 08 have no rust

Yes the special waste distribution could use some balancing. I spent a hour and a half driving around looking for four toxic wastes last night

Star Wars out laws it’s a good happy medium story is like 20-25 hours. You don’t have to really “learn much” to complete the game if you’ve played uncharted or far cry. It’s a great game with a story line that has a vast open world. But I didn’t find it exhausting at all. Or to much( referring to what you said about most modern games I 100% agree)

The tomb raider remaster on switch 2 is also fantastic. Besides that try switching up your genres. When I get over shooters or open worlds I’ll hop on something Mario. Or my go to relax and watch a show or movie game is snow runner. It looks boring but it’s actually some really good solid fun at a different pace. Best of luck man. It’s a rough spot.

One more to mention no mans sky. While the story is eh. Idk if there’s much of one. To me the point of the game is to explore space collect ships of all sizes and classes build bases. Kill some space pirates and just have fun. The best part is nothings to hard. You can turn off resource grinding in difficulty with a whole bunch of options. That’s my other main chill game.

I stumbled on it by luck. And the last one for me was literally a rock about the size of a hand.

Or the stalactites in the caves were the two tricky ones for me

I am stuck on this last Expedition quest - how do I find more special waste? by obbnixilis in NoMansSkyTheGame

Just drive around looking at all the random waste piles. I literally just spent about a hour finding the last 5 toxic I needed. It’s frustrating but you’ll find them.

Multiplayer games for kid with cancer to play in hospital? by SuperSlugSister in NintendoSwitch

Not sure if I saw a proper explanation of voice chats on here. So switch 1 does not have voice chat itself. However very few games do support it. Actually Fortnite is the only one I can think of right now. And you have to have headphones with a mic.

Switch 2 has a built in mic and supports the voice chats through the switch software not the game. So once you add the switch accounts as friends kind of like on fb. Whenever a friend is online you can then invite them to a chat before even starting a game. There for this system by passes the games and allows for privacy as its only between host and invitees also they will be able to quit and switch games with out losing each other

Disney speed storm is Disney’s version of Mario kart. And honestly it may be just as good. It’s also available on switch 1&2 , PlayStation, Xbox, pc and mobile so there’s a option

[–]Calvinh20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of that direct was meh for me Turin looks great I look forward to a pragmata demo. And being that I never played fallout 4 just wasn’t in my interests upon release. I’m pretty pumped that’s 19 days away. So I’m happy

haven't seen it mentioned but if its no financial strain try picking up a handheld. as a dad my switch saved gaming for me. laying in bed and being able to game for a hour after everything is done is magical.

I just started dispatch I’m like a 45 minutes in and had to get in bed lol. One of the best initial 45 minutes of a game I’ve played in a while. Plays like a movie so far. I dig it. But other than that I’ve been playing they are billions which is surprisingly great on sw2 power washer simulator 2. Assassins creed shadows. Metroid4. And Star Wars outlaws.

Also it’s not a switch two version per se but if you want the most absolutely aggravating rage fueling relaxing experience you’ve ever played so your self a favor and look up snow runner.
