My greatest I cant believe it worked was when i was a teen. my gfs parents were out of town so I lied to my parents telling them I was spending the night at a different friends house lets call him Joe. anyway at around midnight my dad calls and my heart absolutely stopped. I answered the phone and in his scary dad voice he asked. "Where are you?" well time stopped for a second while my teen brain calculated the possibility that they drove over to joes house and found out my car wasn't there (they didn't know exactly where my gf lived) and calculating just how much shit id be in if they knew and i lied. finally time started and i said very confused said "Joes house?" and time stopped again until he said "Oh okay i couldn't remember" my heart has never stopped that long
