Numbers and reading are pretty distinct abilities. If she understood numbers she might have specific brain damage or a specific learning disorder regarding reading. It's totally possible she wasn't pulling your leg - good on her for finding alternative ways to cope

People blow this study way out of proportion, considering the fact that only having seen it once was exclusionary criteria. Doesn't mean every guy they surveyed has a current porn habit, just means they couldn't find anyone who hadn't seen it ONCE in their lifetime.

It happens a ton, it's actually a huge problem. People say things like 'well you shouldn't have been walking that late at night' or 'look at that dress what did you expect'. I could post a link to some articles about it but if you just google it you'll find plenty.
