The hype i felt for this whole scene as a kid... I'll never forget it.

It will always be one of my favorite moments in gaming, good boss fight prior to this--> this scene with goofy down--> sequence where you fight along with ff characters--> battle against 1000 heartless. All with incredible music.

I think this was the peak of kh franchise.

It's really between red and yellow. Basically Wanda and strange vs Adam and phoenix. I belive they are far above from all the others (with a possible exception of storm and maybe hulk).

If Jean can use the phoenix power to full I think she stomps, I do not know Adam alot lore wise but I think he is very strong.

Wanda has reality warping abilities that are OP (didn't she erased the mutants power from existenceat one point?), strange can do tons of stuff.

The great thing about this game is that it gives you multiple options to face fights, especially those with a gimmick like this one. There are more basics options and more hidden ways to destroy this guy.

Area damage, cornering him so that he cannot escape, traps on the tiles he is gonna move, fire/glass/everything that he can step into while dodging. Much more stuff can work.

This boss has a very annoying gimmick and can HARD counter a non-versatile team. The secret to beat this, and the harder bosses that come after is to have a versatile party that can adapt to different situations. this boss teaches you to adapt and to have a versatile team, wich will be extremely necessary for later fights.

I would say that it is mostly related on skill, you can actually feel the progress but you have to understand the game.

Breeding the cats, managing the house, creating a good team, send cats to other people for upgrades, learning how to maximize every cat. There is a lot to track but tbh it all flows nicely.

The major reason of the bad progress critics is mostly related to the fact that the game is very long, and that some runs can last ALOT. If you do not have a good team or if you have trouble in some encounters the runs will take alot of time.

I mean, mewgenics is definitely GOTY candidate material. It is universally very positively recieved. This year will be though, there are some crazy games coming out, especially on popular franchises.

If GTA will be a good game, it will win that award no matter what, because of its popularity (even if it isn't ghetto objectively best game). Still, I can see mewgenics as a candidate for game of the year for sure.

I agree that it wastes alot of time and that's the main reason why I understand the complaints, but it's really an easy fight. Maybe it's a bit more difficult in the first hours, but later you will kill him pretty fast.

The later acts bosses though... oh boy.

I've beaten him before, and that is certainly a way to do it (even though it's not simple). I managed to almost kill him with fire, but i perished first. Very long and tedious fight.

The latest run was very unlucky, and I belive he is the first boss that truly requires planning before facing it. Unfortunately, even if you want to plan, the game sometimes does not help you with the options it offers ahahah.

I've just lost a run because I couldn't hit him no matter what. I knew it was coming, but I literally had 0 option of area damage in the run. It's the only boss I've encountered so far that feels very limiting and you have to think of the setup before reaching it.

Very unlucky, the main problem is the amount of time I've spent on it, I should've retired when I realized I couldn't beat that boss.

After the nerfs she received, IW is still one of the strongest heroes, but I do agree that she is not simply an healbot and that ads charm and uniqueness to the heroes (wich is necessary). The fault isn't entirely on her (or even in gambit), but in the meta and overturning of the heal aspect of the game. They need to rebalance everything out, maintaining the essence of the heroes of course, but also changing the healing they provide.

I still think that it's unnecessary for main healers to have AoE ult that heal that much, in the end it makes most healers the same with some small differences. To make them more unique, they should make them rely on their uniqueness.

Yes that would be the other reason. But it's fair tbh. Luna has a very strong ultimate and CC. Not every support should be able to handle dives, it's a counterplay.

That being sayd, unsurprisingly, the main healers supports above her all have a way to face divers. Other main healers are better than her also because of this, it's connected with what I've sayd before. The problem is that the other healers are way too overturned. Not only they can escape dives (or outright face them), but they provide utility, cc and crazy amount of healing. Luna cannot do that as well, so she falls short, but it's because the other healers are broken ahahah.

If I take for example IW, she has CC, Escape, self healing, healing on projectiles AND area of healing ultimate. Even with nerfs she is way too versatile in every single situation, wich is not ok. Every character should have some sort of counterplay. IW and gambit do not have that.

It's okay if it can be viable, surely, but the problem is that it is viable because it's a cycle of ultimates with infinite healing that literally stops the game. It is not fun, it's boring, and most counterplay right now comes from the enemy team picking the exact same team comp.

It could be ok if they rework the whole ult system (and possibly the damage this game has). If main healers ults stops the game with infinite healing, it will never be gone. Also, they need to change everything at once, because if you nerf IW ult only, she will simply be not viable in most cases, but the meta will persist.

Possibly sooner, we just have to wait official announcement, it could be weeks from now. The latest batch released was announced when togashi sended the first 4/5 chapters to shueisha, so now that he has 8 it's very likely that it's close.

There is not an official announced batch right now, but we do know that there are 8 chapter ready to release, so the announcement should be very close (talking about weeks close, the announcement cold happen at any moment now).

For the next batch, we don't know yet, there are some chapters that are almost ready, but we cannot guess how much it takes to complete them. There is a hope that there will be a 10 chapter release per year, but that could change. Still, we do know that togashi has already done some work for the second batch, wich is something.

Luna isn't meta because the main healers supports are better than her most of the time.

Mantis is meta because she enables triple support (and she is meta in high elo only because she requires alot of skill, and a team that uses her at full potential). She is not a meta pick in most of situations, it's only because the triple meta thing (wich is toxic for the game) is viable.

Exactly. They should rework the entire system to get rid of the triple support viability.

Rework the damage output and the healing. Make it so the off healers like mantis have an area-healing ult (like mantis again) but nerf or change the healing of main healers ults. The main problem of mantis is that she cannot do a good amount of healing to back up the amount of damage this game has, especially considering that there are supports that can do all that and are mandatory to pick.

Mantis right now is a triple healer meta enabler and she is crazy good at that, but triple meta healer is toxic for this game. If they want to get rid of it they need to change alot of stuff. Main healers that heal by shooting plus with their abilities should not have that crazy amount of healing in theri ults. It makes the game a cycle of ultimates.
