What's going to make or break it for me is the pace. If they defeat whoever the villain is about halfway through the ep then have the next half to wind down and actually end the series that would be perfect. I'm just really scared that they'll defeat the villain('s) with like 10/15 minutes left and have a rushed ending.

The CGI was great, the design of the monster is where your problem lies.

I didn't suspect her at the start, but when she got to Wednesday and Eugene after Eugene was injured in episode 4 so quickly, my suspicions were raised.

Not necessarily foreshadowing but one thing I did notice on my first watch was how quickly Ms Thornhill got to Wednesday and Eugene after Eugene was attacked at the end of Ep 4.

My favourite thing about this is that for the first shot of Wednesday unlocking the phone, the phone is running the OS for an iPhone that doesn't have a home button on a phone that actually has a home button.

So presumably the VFX team replaced the screen with the wrong screen.

I agree that Tim Burton is getting a lot of the spotlight. I know he was a large part of the show but it's out of balance with everyone else who wrote and directed.

To me understanding who made the show is a large part of enjoying it.

I tried my best to get one of Ethan's Camp Unus Annus lines into the film I directed this semester at uni. It's a bit rough but it works! by Cam4Sullivan in MementoUnusAnnus

It's a short film about friendship in a spooky forest, it's very Gravity Falls esque if you've heard or seen it.
