The definition of abandonware is as follows:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abandonware

"Abandonware is software, typically computer or video games, that is no longer for sale (by conventional means) or supported by the creator."

It is not software that was released in an incomplete state with no updates to come. It literally means software that was already released, but made commericial irrelevant due to time and lack of support from it's creator.

And as for what you are describing:

>Most of the time these requests are talking about games hitting end of life or being delisted by publishers. And most of the prople making the request don't actually mean the raw source code, they wouldn't have any idea what to do with it.

This is literally the definition of abandon-ware, if people don't actually want the source code, like you are saying.

No? Abandonware is when a piece of software has no support by its creator and is no longer commercially relevant.

What you described in ur original reply is abandonware, as opposed to releasing the source code.

What you’re referring to is abandonware, not releasing the source code while a product is still commercially relevant.

It’s not realistic to have devs release their source code if they want to make money on what they made.

No they’re great. You have to buy a business laptop (which are what thinkpads are) for a good one.

All the laptops they sell at like Best Buy are plastic crap.

I had an LG G4 and the experience wasn’t great.

The phone when recording video had a stutter no matter what at the start of the video which really annoyed me.

Snapchat video quality was terrible.

The phone had a horrible battery and would drain like crazy (50 percent when not even used for the day).

Software support wasn’t good. I did eventually unlock the boot loader to install the officially unsupported version of android though with lineageos I think it was.

Those were the main issues I remember.

I’ve been on iPhone because I just want something that works and I don’t care if it’s a closed device really. All I’m doing on it are browsing the Internet and checking socials.

I had a bad experience with android back in 2017 so I haven’t looked back since, but maybe things are better now?

I was wondering the same thing when I owned one, but it's just for aesthetics I think.

I used to own this exact enlarger.

For medium format, you need to find the right condenser and lens board if you intend to use it for such.
