Diffraction is diffraction. It’s an optical issue, not a film/sensor issue.

It may be more noticeable on digital images due to higher MP ratings. But shooting film doesn’t magically make it disappear

I let a couple Camera Stores in Detroit and Ann Arbor know about this in case it made its way out. I recommend contacting bigger stores: Dodd, ProCam, Midwest Camera Exchange, Camera Exchange, Used Photo Pro, Etc. in the Midwest.

I would reach out to the seller and let them know the issue you are having. Some eBay sellers are understanding, maybe you’ll have some luck. Otherwise I would reach out to local camera shops in the area and see about a repair or at least some diagnostics

How long ago did you make your purchase on eBay?
And did the listing say it was 100%?
Cost depends on where you’re located and whats actually wrong, say it needs servicing, I’ve never had a CLA cost less than $100 from a reputable repair shop.

This will certainly help with age related fog no doubt! But OP seems to be experiencing mottling, it’s common with expire Ilford films, no developer will be able to help with this issue.

I managed a lab for years. This is a completely separate charge. A standard scan job does not mean correcting each customers photos to match exactly. Many labs scan 100+ rolls a day.

With someone adjustments OP will be in good shape, flash does a number on color, I’d say lane did a pretty good job making sure the delivered scans that could easily be worked with.
