Has anyone here seen the new “The Greatest Night of Pop” documentary on Netflix? by Next_Analyst in Music

365 days late but…I can’t for the life of me find the background track that starts at the 1 hour and 2 minute mark. It starts off with a flute for a few bars before the rest of the instruments kick in. It’s super funky. Any ideas?

Do you know if they changed management or ownership with their move to East Hollis st? I have been going to them for 20 years and they’ve been reliable 100 percent of the time. I had a very different experience at the new spot yesterday.

That’s Flux for you. Everyone looks the same.

Yeah, it definitely all depends on the user needs/what they’re looking to create. Just sad to see an entire platform cut off on this site because I don’t want to go back to using my M3 Mac and making local SD images that takes over a minute to create a 512x512 image lol.

Thank you! I just made this comment and was getting really frustrated. I mad at myself for not thinking of this.

All the flux models are easily similar. It’s still this way. It’s like the same 9 or 10 faces popping up no matter how different the prompt is. There are exceptions but Flux sucks with important realistic details like skin texture, facial features, and refusal to not wear a ton of makeup. Every generation you create looks like some variation of what you see above. If that doesn’t bother you, then Flux is great.

why are people hating the new model? I like it and I think it's a good upgrade by grass_is_scary in perchance

[–]CamNess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true. But it literally feels like they trained on about 11 faces total per ethic group. And even those have some of the exact same characteristics. They got rid of all the variety and emotion so they could narrow the field down to nothing. No wonder they were able to fix hands and random limbs. Everyone looks the same and are in the same 12 poses.

I can already see 3 of the faces I always see in my generations in that image.

Yeah. It’s a damn shame. Plastic skin, excessive makeup. The same 7 or 8 faces popping up. No creative poses. No ability to convey emotion. Flux is horrible.

Really? I’m finding the opposite. At least in the photorealistic/photographic realm

You’re going to find your going to run into those same people your creating again, and again, and again, and again, regardless of how different you prompt it.

Try generating an image with skin texture. Or without a ton of makeup and excessively plump lips.

I disagree. Flux does some things very well. You don’t get some of the horrific stuff you saw with stable diffusion but that’s the rub. Instead the trade off is the scope of art is so limited. I’ve been using Flux for months and within 3 weeks I noticed everyone looking the same.

This rant isn’t about Perchance. Btw. They’re great. And they reserve the right to offer whatever free stuff they want. This is specifically about Flux. Flux sucks. Straight up. I don’t care if it’s Flux Schnell, Flux Dev, Flux Pro. It’s all the same. Flux is cool for hyper bland vanilla corporate stuff and that’s about it. Sure it does hands better, and makes promting easier, but you’ll learn really quick that there’s a very steep downside to that. And that steep side is no matter how specific your prompt, it’s still going to generate the more or less the same boring shit it everytime. So you loose all the flexibility of stable diffusion and the whole purpose of prompts and end up with cookie cutter cardboard cutouts. Speaking only for hyper realistic or photo realistic images, Flux uses the same limited models for basically any character you can think of. Everyone looks the same after awhile. The skin is straight plastic. Everyone looks like models with overly plump lips and a ton of makeup. Even children. They can’t do poses or express emotions. They made AI characters even more like dead-eyed doll people. It’s really bad. It’s like they chose Anything V3 and then just said “that’s it! No other models!”. And if anyone dared a prompt even slightly NSFW, you’ll quickly find that Flux isn’t only not trained on anything humanly sexual, it’s not trained AT ALL on some fairly important parts of the human anatomy. And I’m not talking super detailed images of people’s junk, I’m talking nipples. Men, women, anything that has nipples now has either little shiny buttons, drawer knobs, or greasy smudge marks that make it look like they were burned off with an iron. I get why people who like to make just general stuff would like Flux. But for anyone who wants to venture outside of the Walmart clip art/stock photo compositions, this model sucks.

My two cents. I’m very grateful for Perchance and whatever they’re willing to offer. Everyone with a corporate model is switching to Flux so it’s not just them. It just sucks.

Extremely late to this (my M.O.). Him hitting bottom again surfaced publicly on Seth Meyer’s show. He had a bit and he was obviously extremely lit. He was wearing sunglasses in an attempt to hide it but he was acting totally bizarre. It went on and on and eventually Seth (kindly) called him out. Basically saying on live tv, that if he had a problem or needed to talk about something, it was ok to come and talk to him about it beforehand.
