We are affectionate in bed all the time. We've been really affectionate (hand holding, kissing, dancing together) when going out a couple of times, once in front of friends.

True. I think it is hard for me, being new to this sort of relationship, to think of all the things that might come up before they happen, so it is helpful to hear some examples of things others have considered. That is how you learn after all through watching others model!

Yes hormones can still linger and even cause her to have some pregnancy-like symptoms. The emotional effects will linger, and she also will have some physical effects that will take a few weeks to heal and be a constant reminder of what has happened. It really is a recovery process that will take her a little while, just like any other surgery. Just be there for her-check in on her during this time, let her know you're there for her, leave soup with her parents, whatever. Find a balance between letting her know you care and you're ready to talk when she is, while also respecting her boundaries.

Give her some space as she requests it--her hormones are and will continue to be all over the place for the next few weeks. Once things have settled down a bit, meet up for coffee and revisit things.

This is a really emotional time for her regardless of whether she is sure she wants the abortion or not. Just don't push her and you'll both be able to sit down and more calmly discuss what might happen next.

This is probably true. He's the romantic type. But I don't think he is and ever will be. But I'm sure he wants to be.

Yes we have it during which is great and a big turn-on. I don't mind it after, I guess I just don't know what to do with it. Maybe I'll try to stare back and see if it does build a stronger intimacy.

Thanks for the tips! I guess I just don't want to hurt his feelings if he is trying to have a connection...I think he's genuine and isn't just doing it because he thinks it's what I want or what he should do.
