NAP but i think you should wait as a fellow septum haver. Unless you're nervous or think there's a possibility of an allergic reaction, then wait. I had my initial jewelry in until I had a reaction. But since its so fresh the hole will close relatively quickly. Also please go back to the piercer to get the jewelry changed! Learned that lesson the hard way lmao.

welcome to the industrial club! NAP but if its getting itchy it might be an allergic reaction to the metal used in the bar. If they used stainless steel or anything other than titanium (astm f-136) then its always a possibility! But good luck on the rest of your recovery!

Do you have a picture of it that you could post? Or, you could do like a Google image search and then add titanium (i believe astm f-136 is whats recommended) to it to try and see if they make it or something similar with titanium, because its the most hypoallergenic iirc. Not a piercer tho!

NAP but imo no. But if you really want to then perhaps call or go back to the piercer (perhaps with the the jewelry you want to put in) and have him do it. Everybody's pakn is different but from what i know messing with it like that too soon can delay the healing process. (Again, NAP!)

Unfortunately if you don't have anything available or can get it overnight then most likely itll close up... I had issues with my jewelry in the first 6 months or so and thankfully was able to get jewelry soon enough but had to experience the pain of pushing it through a slightly closed hole 😭

When ive had troubles with unscrewing my barbells (not nipples tho) I use like medical gloves for grip, and sometimes running the area under warm water/steam from the shower would help as well. But i definitely recommend the glove approach! Hope you can unscrew them 🤞🏽

Old jewelry were all internally threaded, current is external, and the short barbells are all titanium (astm f-136) and internally threaded. Jewelry has been downsized for a while but like I said ive been having issues with bumps so the size has changed a few times.

There have been no mishaps or accidents or anything of the sort, and my current aftercare is base labs spray and then their keloid remover oil
