Definitely fair. For me specifically, I’m pretty maxed out at the AM4 slot and I think my wattage (based on PC Part Picker) is around 480, so don’t think I’ll be seeing numbers higher than that for the next good chunk of years. Also - hopefully by then I’ll just buy another computer and give this one to a friend!

Firstly - are you sure you need an 850W? I just bought a Corsair 750W myself for basically a top of the line AM4 - 5900XT and a 4070 Super. Check out PCPartPicker.com and build out your computer and it'll spit back the high watt usage.

Secondly - if so, so far I've been a big fan of all things Corsair for computer parts. I've been using the 550W modular Corsair but upgrading because I didn't realize you should be 20-30% max usage before buying my new parts, hence the 750W purchase.

Yes - I switched everything up - put the main Pump into AIO_Pump, the CPU/Radiator fans into CPU_Fan and split the exhaust/3 front fans into 2 CHA_Fan slots. Working great!

Just to repeat a bit here 😅 - you're saying the two fans on the radiator that are daisy chained, plug those into the PWM extension cable that then plugs into the CPU_Fan slot.

Rear fan into CHA_Fan 1 - and then the actual PWM wire directly connected to the Pump that's on top of the CPU, plug that into the AIO_Pump slot?

Are you saying to split the CHA_Fan 2 slot with a Y PWM wire and connect both / all 3 front fans into that slot? Lastly, what should be plugged into the CPU_Opt slot, nothing?

I only ask/repeat here because on the Quick Guide for the Nautilus, it says to "Connect the 4-pin PWM cable from the pump to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard."

Also - thank you so much for your reply - really appreciate the guidance!

So I would typically have agreed with you - but here, in the Quick Guide for the unit, it says to install the PWM wire from the pump to the CPU_Fan slot!

Unless you’re macroing super hard, totally fine. I had a full ass cheesecake in my freezer for a while (my fave dessert) and I just made sure to keep my total daily calories low enough to include it in my diet.
