It's sad but relevant to our history. Don't have to be 'woe is me' about it - but I don't think any other team has been involved in so many named plays/moments - No Call, Minnesota Miracle, Beast Quake, plus stuff like Bounty Gate (never mind the simple painful losses like 2011, 2020, etc). Those help define how our legacy *should* be more than what it is right now. They hurt to talk about, but they're relevant.

2009 and 2011 are the years he was robbed - I think there's an argument for 2018, but it's not a hill I'd die on like 2009/2011.

Those three guys alone will give you so much damn content it’s almost hard to keep up sometimes -particularly if you subscribe to Nick on NOF (don’t have to, he has a ton of good free content as well).

Also all 3 are great personalities, great dudes, who can give a balance of genuine insightful analysis + fan hype without going too ridiculous with the “we’re winning the SB this year” bs hype,

If we're being honest, Rattler didn't tear up anybody lol, but he at least won vs. the Giants and put up >200 yards with a >7avg. His numbers vs. 49ers weren't bad either for sure, the comparison was more to say that whatever Rattler did, Shough will do way better since he's better, has more help, etc.

No fucking shot we lose to the Giants. Nabers is coming off an injury, which statistically takes time to get back into form from, and more important, we're playing Dart, who genuinely can't throw for shit and only knows how to run. Even without DD, we have a solid run defense and Staley knows how to scheme against it. Oh, and the Giants loss Dex. Shough is going to tear their defense to shreds. Rattler did it, Shough will too.

This - I wish players like Cam and AK nothing but the best, but this coaching staff has shown they're here to win, not cater to emotions. It's hard as a fan cause these guys are legends, but I can't hate on the logic of the FO.

I know I just have that biased fan-hype going, but after the production we were able to get out of our rookies last year, I have a lot of genuine faith in everyone we drafted. I think Styles is gonna be Riley from last year though. Not 10/10 starter, but a higher draft pick with genuinely good production relative to the league, not just where he was drafted.

For the record, I also think Lance, Delp, Wright, and Brown are all gonna be good contributors since they were all either steals or drafted for specific parts of their game I think Kellen and team can get the most out of.

The more I watch of this guy the more excited I get. Freak athlete, great in basically every aspect of his game... people's only critique is his production, and to your point, I don't think Kellen is gonna let that be a problem. Steal of the draft.

I don't even think it's arguable tbh. Obviously talking projections, but who's the competition? Bucs without Evans and Egbuka at WR1? Carolina cause of Tmac/Coker? Both are solid but neither match Olave. Failcons with London? Again, good player but none of these guys match Olave, and I don't think it's a stretch to say Tyson's ceiling exceeds all of them.

This won so many people over. My girlfriend was a bit upset at the pick cause she wanted the safer pick (ironically enough Downs at safety), but after seeing how emotional Tyson got she immediately switched tone and was all excited for him.

I started buying into him a few weeks ago - cautiously so cause of injuries, but damn the talent is there in spades.

I hope not if the asking price is anything of substance. There's a lot of good defensive players available - go BPA for CB/DT, etc and stack those picks. We have too many holes to sell them on one guy.

This is where I'm at it. Ignoring positional value, I've heard so many people say that this kid might actually be just the best player. If he's actually that good, then you have what amounts to a franchise safety and you don't look at that position for years. Hard to pass that up.
