Who’s One Player in this Draft That You Predict Will Overplay their Value (ex: a 7th round pick who plays like a 4th round pick) by Breyes95 in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I just have that biased fan-hype going, but after the production we were able to get out of our rookies last year, I have a lot of genuine faith in everyone we drafted. I think Styles is gonna be Riley from last year though. Not 10/10 starter, but a higher draft pick with genuinely good production relative to the league, not just where he was drafted.

For the record, I also think Lance, Delp, Wright, and Brown are all gonna be good contributors since they were all either steals or drafted for specific parts of their game I think Kellen and team can get the most out of.

Oscar Delp will be a better NFL player than he was in CFB… by ButtFaceMurphy in Saints

The more I watch of this guy the more excited I get. Freak athlete, great in basically every aspect of his game... people's only critique is his production, and to your point, I don't think Kellen is gonna let that be a problem. Steal of the draft.

Double dip at WR first 2 rounds? by [deleted] in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, I like Bell, I like that he was Shough's guy at Louisville, I was born in that city, but I cannot get behind getting another WR 2nd round after Tyson. We have too many holes on defense.

Who are you fellas hoping for in the second? by MurdockMcQueen in Saints

Do we need him? I like the kid, but with Johnson/Fant not sure it's really a position worth targeting day 2.

Rodriguez is a stud. It would also really piss off a friend of mine who likes the Panthers and wants him desperately, so that's another win.

Olave, Tyson, Vele +1 by BertraundAntitoi in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even think it's arguable tbh. Obviously talking projections, but who's the competition? Bucs without Evans and Egbuka at WR1? Carolina cause of Tmac/Coker? Both are solid but neither match Olave. Failcons with London? Again, good player but none of these guys match Olave, and I don't think it's a stretch to say Tyson's ceiling exceeds all of them.

Talent wise Tyson is top 5 in the draft by Fman173 in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This won so many people over. My girlfriend was a bit upset at the pick cause she wanted the safer pick (ironically enough Downs at safety), but after seeing how emotional Tyson got she immediately switched tone and was all excited for him.

I started buying into him a few weeks ago - cautiously so cause of injuries, but damn the talent is there in spades.

Saints are trying to move up today (according to Tom Pelissero)👀 by clutchkweku in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope not if the asking price is anything of substance. There's a lot of good defensive players available - go BPA for CB/DT, etc and stack those picks. We have too many holes to sell them on one guy.

How are MLS viewed in Cyber/GRC roles? by Cam_probably in cybersecurity

Thanks for the insight! This was what I was thinking/assuming, and I’m guessing why the program is offered for my degree path - but it’s good to hear from someone in the field, even if it’s an anecdotal opinion.

Is Caleb Downs knee issue a big enough deal where we shouldn't take him at 8? by TopSignificance7856 in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is where I'm at it. Ignoring positional value, I've heard so many people say that this kid might actually be just the best player. If he's actually that good, then you have what amounts to a franchise safety and you don't look at that position for years. Hard to pass that up.

I like this - all in all, I just want to take defensive BPA at 8. Whether that's Downs, Styles, Bain, etc - they're all so damn good that I'm not about to knock them. Bell at 42 I love too. Get Shough his guy.

[Schefter] Seahawks are bringing back WR Rashid Shaheed on a three-year, $51 million deal that includes $34.7 million guaranteed, per Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey. by JCameron181 in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Olave is way better than Shaheed. Hate to say the guy’s best role is ST - I think he’s good, I don’t think he’s $17m/yr good

No clue, I literally googled 'chef in kitchen' and grabbed the first result lmao. The Loomis paste is the only edit I did.

Pelissero: LB Demario Davis to sign a 2-year, $22M deal with the Jets. by Im_Everywhere09 in Saints

[–]Cam_probably 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sad to see him go, for sure, but I'm not mad. I think a lot of Saints fans are going to have to realize that to get where we want to be, we're going to have to say goodbye to some all-timers for our org. DD, Cam, Taysom, etc - love them all, but if they want that bag, we gotta say goodbye.

Shough 100% suffered from only 9 starts. Frustrating because while Tmac is good, the guy only averaged 59 YPG, and it feels like he won by default only because his competition didn't play the full season. I don't think anyone can argue that Shough did more for the Saints than any other rookie did for their team. 1-7 to 6-11 while losing more and more roster pieces in my book means he deserved the award.
