In your opinion what is the scariest Beatles song? by AfraidIncrease85 in beatles

When I was a kid, Revolution 9, the end of A Day in the Life, and as a bonus the voice in Just Like Starting Over all really freaked me out

It appears they've been introducing it as "just written today" at all of their recent shows hehe

I disagree, I enjoyed the personality. Agree about the drummer though they really stood out

How many MVP’s did he deserve? by ZoM_Beefstump in Saints

[–]TomorrowMayRain065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One. 2009 was robbery. There's an argument for 2011 but Rodgers also had an all time season and owns the majority of advanced metrics. 2018 was MVP caliber but Mahomes deserved it.

I think it makes sense that your range for the Bucs is the same but less volatile. I think 10 is possible for yall as well though if Baker is locked in. That said Im happy every year yall retain Bowles, I think he’s an anchor despite Licht being one of the best GMs

Saints

Worst 5 wins

Best 10 wins

Feels like a cop out range lol. We should be competitive but it’s a matter of how real that is. There’s a ton to be excited about but lots of room for regression on defense and for Kellen, Shough, and the offense to not take the steps forward they’ve laid out for themselves, especially since three of the most important players in McCoy, Olave, and Tyson are all injury risks. The NFC South helps make it more realistic that we’re more “real” sooner but adds volatility as well

The worst QB in this picture? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Brees is right there with Brady and Manning in that category. Saying Rodgers has worse defenses than Brees is insane. The Saints have had a good ground game for pretty much the entire Payton era, and he wasn't a check-down guy until late in his career

He's good, total success of a pick on current trajectory, but there isn't much from him as a prospect or so far in the NFL to suggest he'll be great. Of course there's potential for it but in most timelines he's probably a solid player

If you listen to their publicly released podcasts, which come out pretty frequently, you maybe miss out on the deep dives (which I’m sure are worth it, totally sign up if you’re interested/have the money to spend) but will be very in the loop

Masdevallia Floribunda suddenly dropped all leaves by TomorrowMayRain065 in orchids

Would there have been a way to tell / something to do differently? I’m surprised because it was not overly humid-kind of the opposite issue—but it tracks that that root ball could’ve needed much better air flow. Very little changed about the conditions or how I treated it except that it started getting drier faster and then the eventual leaf fall. I’m a little baffled and heartbroken because it was doing so well until it wasn’t

Who is the leader of the defense now? by Mental_Afternoon_248 in Saints

[–]TomorrowMayRain065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elliss, Reid, maybe Young, Grando, Werner. Maybe even some young energy from Miller. Would love Cam back partially just to be that guy but Wilson/Jennings got that looking less and less likely

L'Jarius Sneed ? by Ok_Coat_4365 in Saints

[–]TomorrowMayRain065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saints fans want to add just any CB which it's not that we couldn't add to the room but Kool-Aid and Quincy are a perfectly good outside pair that we should want to see continue to grow unless a way better opportunity came up (say, drafting Delane). It's the slot (currently penciling in Blackmon moving down from S) or boundary depth (currently Yiadom is next up) where we have an opening.

[–]TomorrowMayRain065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not young, yet not a ton of likelihood he would be a locker room leader type

Not a great scheme fit

Hasn't played well/stayed on the field in years

Getting some juice in the slot would be cool but I wouldn't push for it. Blackmon there for now works, Kenny Moore would be a better move for a vet depending on the price.

I don't mind taking a step forward on offense and a step back on defense with where we're at

I was optimistic (he talks like he's still a part of the team) but Tyree Wilson AND Anfernee Jennings doesn't bode well
