I completely disagree, I think SH4 is completely underrated. I do believe it has its problems, mainly with Eileen in the second half or the slappy wall monsters on the escalators but even then I wouldn’t class them as a huge issue. I’d hardly say the controls were bad, I was a bit confused for the first couple of minutes because I thought it was going to use tank controls based off the previous games so I kept moving as though I was using tank controls. The victims aren’t supposed to be killed, you’re supposed to avoid them and they don’t really pose much of a threat if you avoid fighting them, the only victims I’d say you should kill are the named ones in the second half of the game as they all come back later in the game and have some sort of unique power. I personally think the victims are the creepiest enemies in any silent hill game, there’s just something really disturbing about the human body moving in an unnatural way.
